uses for physical junk mail?

For awhile now I have been thinking..the volume of junk mail i receive on a weekly basis to my IRL home address is pretty significant. After reading a lot here on bhw and just learning more about marketing and advertising in general it has me thinking....what can I do with all these colored pieces of paper being sent to me everyday?

The problem for them is that they are spending money trying to penetrate people like me who don't have a budget to give for the basics and their own startup businesses much less giving to charities or buying stuff like windows or hot tubs (popular fliers sent out around here repeatedly)...but yet they keep spending .10 cents to print the ad, x amount of dollars for them to be packaged and delivered, and then x amount of dollars for the ad to be graphically designed (stock photo, map of location, pictures of owners/testimonials) for it to not even be looked at and then throw right in the recycling bin at the rate of hundreds of houses a day.

Has anybody ever actually found a use for any of this? Besides stuff for fun like arts and crafts, what are some solid money making methods that can be done with all this paper? I got to thinking and guessed maybe I could store it and bank it to then scan it all in a few years to lift pictures, fonts, phone numbers, formats....that was just my basic take on it.

Paper Logs. We get about 2hr burn from our junk mail.. You can either make them using the water and compressed method online. or what I do is place them all on top of each the top 5-6 sheets i rip in half turn the opposite way and then i roll the lot together to make one log rolling as tight as i can. I stick the ends down with a small bit of tape and throw in the log burner.

If you'd look with your third eye, you'd realize that there's some gold in them trash! It's no different from the junk emails we receive daily. What I do is to peruse their copies, and glean some one or two information from them that I can incorporate into my own copies.

Make a database of the companies that are sending mass advertisements. If you get a neighborhood magazine of local businesses, that is a goldmine. Maybe there is a way to transform this junk mail into other items - Christmas cards, birthday cards, paper weights etc. Then have an online store that sells stuff made out of junk mail, then make that into a brand.

Have a page about the sponsors and list all the companies that are providing the raw materials.
