Landed here because I searched for how to make fake ID for my frozen Facebook account. I do not run any sort of business.

It's nice to be here though!

There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women

Change one letter in the name review and save it. That way you normally wont get asked for an ID.

Welcome aboard.

If you don't run a business, then who would report you to FB? Strange. You got someone on your tail so watch out.

Sorry, but you're are wrong there.

I tweaked it by swapping first name and surname around. Unintentionally, really.

I don't really know either. One can only guess:
a. People have high moral standards and think not entering your surname is "wrong".
b. Same people overestimate what FB is.

I'm not an interesting person on FB, whoever reported me just needs to get out more.

too many spies on FB.
so what do you use this account for then?
I use it to watch other people's cat pics and wonder why they can spell FB with capital letters but not start a sentence with them.

Why do you ask?

what do you use your FB account for, not your BHW account.
apparently it does not have your last name in it, it cannot be supported by an ID; so why do you need to get it back so bad? is it a fake account?

I said a letter. Not a whole word.
You said a letter. Your advice will hopefully come other FB users to good help before they submit their name once reported by a fellow FB user for not using their "everyday name". It was too late for me to follow your good advice as the "damager" had already happened. I could not travel back in time and follow your advice.

Anyhow, are we assuming that the name re-entered gets checked by a bot, and not a human person?

Let's say, you name is Islandman Islandmanislandman on your prolife. You then enter Islandmanislandman Islandman when promted. Hence, there is zero change of the actaul letters. What is the bot looking for? Remains a speculation, but we can but guess.

You would think that when prompted all they want is for you to re-enter exaclty the same name, so why is this not the case?

FB is very strange on what they want. When I had this problem at first I thought I would need to send in an ID. With a name such as Mary Wilson I would just change it to Mari Wilson and have never had to provide ID after. Always works for me.

Good morning!
Good questions. What do I need it for? On reflection, and given circumstances, I most certainly need it less than I thought I did. I have lived in different countries throughout my whole life and felt it was a good way of staying in touch. Alas, most of the time spent on FB I just get angry over various, re-posted political content. When all I logged in for was to see photos of my cousins’ newborn, my colleague’s new house, etc., etc., etc., but they are not there as they never wished to share this online anyways!

Bottom-line, today all I want is to be able to log in, tell contacts that because I don't agree with FB possibly forcing me to use my surname, not my ”everyday (first) name that friends and family know you by" I will be deleting my FB account once and for all, given circumstances. Failing that I'm just going to wait for FB to change their rules yet again and see if my profile gets unfrozen by them.

It is not fake, as such, but even if it were? I don't have my surname on but my first name only; I don't tell them my exact date of birth. You know the hype about artists with a stage name, famous people wanting to use a less stalker attracting version of their "everyday name" but still use FB? My reasons are different but I have no intention of adding my surname to my first name, my real, given, Christian, everyday first name on a social media website. Just as I have absolutely no intention of uploading any type of ID to social media either, let alone an American site when I live in the UK?

Funnily enough, I think my ideas about the internet of all things are quite realistic?

I wish I'd known. :weep:
