Embed videos to your own player

Hello, my account is new but I have been using BHW for a while now.
So, I started my own journey some time ago with some kind of a tube site (maybe I will post the journey if it becomes successful).

The problem that I came accross is that the videos that I embedded in my site have a lot of ads and I don't really get paid enough for them (don't know if I am allowed to post the site where i upload them). So I want to embed them in my own player (like fluid player or jwplayer).
The question is: how can I "steal" the videos from a hosting website like xvideos, but not the player, and put them in my own player. (I know it's possible because i have seen a lot of sites doing it, but I don't know how).

Sorry, but I am still looking into it. All I found out was what you can do with parsing and scraping, but I am not sure how to implement into my website yet (wordpres); also I didn't have much free time so yea. If you want I can share it with you when I find out

Easiest way to find the video source file is analyze the network stream with mozilla firefox developers console

In case anyone is reading this post, here is how I did it.

This is the PHP code for getting the source link of a video:

$doc->loadHTML($html);

$tags = $doc->getElementsByTagName('source'); // this is getting the source of the video

foreach ($tags as $tag) {
print_r($tag->getAttribute('src')); // this is converting the value from the <source src=" "> to a string and printing it
}
?>

Note that I use this where there is only one video on the page. If you use it on a page where there are more videos it will get all of these videos sources (probably).
After you get the source of the video you just have to insert it inside your player. That's it.

Yes it is possible to get video into your own player. I usually scrape source url using python programming language with beautifulsoup4 html/xml parser. Problem is that for example xvideos link is valid only for 3 hours, then link going to stop work.

You can download and re-upload them to less 'Addy' host and embed them back on your player. You cannot 'steal' videos as they are hosted on secured cloud servers with API that changes every few mins / IP restrictions etc.

Yes it would work, but you must do it very quickly it is another extra request which can slow down your whole website using, I would do it async way via javascript.
But best would be download it and host it on other server as Highr0ll34 reccomended

You can, if you do that "live/instant".
What I mean with that is: everytime someone wants to watch a video on your site, you make a request for the video hosted on the hosting site, which is what I did.
