i am new to seo and wanted to ask expert advice.
i wanted to know if a keyword is xyz.com/something
is it possible that i can outrank that keyword? if my website is abc.com and i do not own xyz.com
if anyone know about it please let me know

also if i can, please suggest me which service should i buy here to be on first page 1st rank on google search for that keyword.

I'm sure that this is real. You must use quality content and trackbacks for your keyword. The domain name doesn't deprive you of this opportunity.

A bit confused with the question. Are you trying to outrank a competitor using his website's name in your site? If that's the case, I'd say you'll just do him a favor. But if you want to outrank your competitor for the same keyword -- example: "solar powered lamps" that's possible. It'll take a lot of work (and time) to achieve depending how far behind you are right now.

6. post some good quality content

Actually, the keyword is containing his website name for an example
Website - http://www.blackhatworld.com
Keyword Which had good traffic and i want to out rank is - http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo
That's the one i wanted to beat, i have seen a lot of people put that keyword in header or top of there website. as am not the only one who is trying to do that but so far i have seen someone get manage to get a website on 4th position on the first page with that keyword. Although my website is a new one.
Again am not expert in SEO so am not even sure if it's possible or not but there are people out there who are doing it or al least trying.
Here on black hat world, i have seen several people offering there services but they are not willing to take any guaranty which is why am avoiding them.
