Hi all,

I've read a few guides on how to build and market Amazon affiliate sites. For example a review site for products in a specific niche, etc.

One thing I dont quite understand though, is how people rank and review various products. I suspect that people aren't going out and buying everything in their top 10 list or whatever, and then reviewing it?

So I suspect people are making it up (and that's fine with me) or essentially paraphrasing other people's reviews (also fine with me). I just want to understand the best way to build out content for products that you have never used!

Thanks!!!

Yup! That's the game my friend. I usually find 5 articles on a subject, copy and paste elements from each article I to one GIANT MEGA article.
I will then go ahead and edit this down, adding my own voice etc.

Once final draft is complete I run it through a site called 'hemmingway' (don't have enough posts to link) which usually tells me my writing style is rubbish and also that my article makes almost no sense.

Once I've gone through any nessescery changes. I'll read it again and by this point I feel confident it's not completely terrible.

I hope this helps.
