Should I buy a Laptop or a PC?

how is that working out for you? good all round or just good enough till you can get something better?

If you do not want to sit in the same room all the time while working, then go for a laptop. You could even go outside and even work from different places.

If you work on some really resource intensive stuff like Photoshop or Adobe Premiere then go for a PC. Laptops at around your budget would have a hard time with that. You can get a refurbished laptop with more powerful specs, but I assume they'll conk out faster, being secondhand and all.
