Should I buy a Laptop or a PC?

Try to buy a used one and then you could upgrade the ram, cards cores etc, I bought 4 imacs for a 100 each and two macbooks for 150 each from goodwill. Best investment I ever made, lmk if u have and questions
wut?

imacs for 100? how is that possible lol unless the imacs are really old. Could you pm me the site you bought it off of? :)

Read it again buddy, goodwill. It's like a thrift store
Never been to one but I've heard it's a good place to thrift. Any as good alternatives for UK?

I personally have a very good gaming PC that I've upgraded recently, I've had mines now for about 4 years of heavy use such as gaming, Photoshop, After effects, editing, projects, etc. and still running like a dream, it does everything I need and want. The only thing I can't do is take my desktop to Starbucks to work on projects and I'd like to see someone try, that would be funny as fuck. I would get a PC it's just better in the long run in terms of power, speed, multitasking, hardware and upgrades. The only down side is portability.

But really: speed, power, hardware, multitasking, upgrades>portability.

For portable things I'm mostly on my iPhone anyway for thing's I can do on there, but everything else PC. #PCmasterrace

I'd like to enjoy laptops, but I really need a good chair and good keyboard and alrge monitor.

That means portability is more important to you than raw power. I've never had a desktop but I have two laptops and wish I bought a desktop instead of the last laptop. I'm getting a gaming desktop soon. That's for sure.

If you're just doing IM, I'd just pick a laptop. Helps to be more portable if you need to be. With 400 Euros, PC won't get you much either. I got a Lenovo Thinkpad just to be more portable with work from my already PC. Used it for a year and then upgraded.

If you are into browsing more than any other thing then try to get macbook air. Its good for surfing internet, great battery life, light weight. It has its own pros and cons, go through it before buying.

Simple. Where do you usually spend your time when in front of a computer? Just at home? Then get a pc. But if your frequently travelling when working, get a laptop .

A normal laptop that suits you for work costs around $ 1,000 and above. The price tag is not small, but if you earn on your computer you need to buy a good one.

laptop is bst as per pc but if you have not touchy about hand carry then go for pc too

I bought a Lenovo for around 450pounds

I would say it depends on what you’re using it for, primarily and how frequently you’ll need access on the go if it’s something your smartphone can’t handle.

Definitely a PC. Just cuz I don't wanna fall asleep while working.

If you are from the US, wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals.
