It is difficult to get projects on freelancing networks without good profile and previous projects.

Have been trying with upwork for the last 1 month. Yet to get a project there

Well, I'm on upwork for last 4 years and have over $50k with about 80 contracts finished and 98% JSS.
The issue here is not profile, it's how freelancing works.

OP wants this:
- Client post a job
- He applies and gets accepted
- Client requests a work the same day
- OP creates a job posting, finds freelancer and assign work
- Freelancer does the work, and OP notifies the original client that work is done
- Client reviews a work and pay

All that in 10 (ten) hours. Is. Impossible.

No? You just need good marketing skills(to find girls online ) and decent looks and/or good talking skills. Girls like personality and looks more than money .
