I Got Scammed On Here :( $250

Ya stupid me ‍ First time being scammed, but I learned a good lesson.

I was looking for a developer to create me a Discord Bot, this user messaged me and then we began talking on Discord.

He only would accept Crypto currency, which I understood because of charge backs. So I had to wait a few days until I could buy the BitCoins, but meanwhile I was sending him questions about hosting issues I’ve been having and he helped me fix them.

Now I sent him $125 BTC the first time and then he sent me the program after 2 days. The program was password locked and he forced me to pay another $125 or he wouldn’t give me the password. So I had the choice to argue and reject paying him or pay him and get the password (I thought).

So I sent him the money and now he’s no longer replying to me and is also banned from the forums now. I just feel bad because honestly I would’ve built a business relationship with an actual developer, but he got away with a quick $250 instead of months of work.

All good though, lesson learned...don’t fucking pay with BitCoin or ever F&F PayPal!

Did you ever try RAR archive password removal? Maybe inside will be your bot, but I think if he didn't answer you'd find something there like ... other archives or even pictures. Is lame that people like that can do business here, but next time pick a JR VIP or something and doesn't trust newbies.

Nothing wrong with paying people in bitcoin, just make sure you vet the person before paying. Just consider the money gone and learn from the mistake. Good luck to you.

Because it`s in the lounge I will tell you a story with a `` developer `` from BHW, he got sales thread and stuff and happened a few days ago...

He almost scams me until I told him I open shitlist and I let the most significant review ever. It`s this kind of guy like you see on the market, he talks nice, and on end he says: `` maybe``, `` I try to do it `` ... and after a month he said: I don`t promise you anything, I just said: ``maybe``.

Actually, in his big professional brain, he was thinking I pay him for a homepage edit with a builder. On end, I lost 70 USD but it`s ok, we all keep learning. Even now I can let him a bad review but I believe karma will look after him.

Open the eyes boys and make sure you deal you deal with good people, most of them are teenagers which thinks they are smart.

It's hard to distinguish the good from the bad when those scammed refuse to leave bad reviews.

Getting a refund is the absolute legal minimum required in such a case, not some above-and-beyond customer service that should be rewarded with withholding an informative review that would help others to not get scammed.

what misterf means is - its common knowledge you should only buy from
marketplace sellers, you dont or ever buy from yellow members ever as
yellow name members cant sell on bhw - they can only buy,

He was scammed pure and simple. There was no working bot, it's just a dummy file.

Very similar MO with @signcode, but I think they are different users.
