Blocked aswell, dont waste my time with your perma shittalk about crypto.
The HTC EXODUS 1 is about getting the consumer used to owning their own keys and going from there to develop the EXODUS into a device that can be for the broader market
As you didnt really do a comparison I had a goQuick comparison of my bank/credit card V crypto (Bitcoin) and see which one wins each category:
You must realise this isnt really free? Someone pays somewhere. Even if you can get by with a very basic account the people out there getting charged for overdrafts, business loans etc are paying for you.Fees: Bank, free online transfers. No transaction fees on foreign purchases.
Withdrawing cash: Bank, free worldwide ATM withdrawal.
I paid using contactless on a debit card today. It wasnt instant it took maybe 10 seconds before it was approved. Small payments on Bitcoin Lightening Network are faster than that. Larger on chain ones can be done in 10 mins. Many other coins are a few seconds.Speed: Bank/Credit card, instant.
Again, you pay for that insurance. If we're to believe crypto has a future then insurance is very likely part of that.Security: Bank, money insured by the government. Credit card I can chargeback any fraudulent transaction.
Free money you say? How that work then?Cashback: Credit card, the bank even pays me to basically take out a short term loan with them.
Fair point for now. Although I dont know about where you're from but here in the UK interest rates are below inflation so anything sitting in the bank is shrinking. On an international level it does fluctuate its just less extreme. Part of that is the volume on the markets is so much higher that the fluctuations are more minor. So you could hazard that if it were to gain popularity then Bitcoin would become less volatile.Volatility: Bank, don't need to worry about my currency suddenly plunging 15% in a few hours.
The future, blockchain.
All currencies are national.Do u expect btc exits today, and we straight not gonna use dollar anymore?
One day .. nobody care about fiat anymore. It just nothing more than a colorful paper note. Crypto is the future.

To add to the list
Crypto has no future becasue HTC is launching a crypto phone

ATM withdrawl is getting easier with crypto cards
International transfer of money is not free anyway. At least not with my bank. I can send it free or i can send it and also pay the recipients fees.

And for the record Im not someone that believes "crypto" is going to replace fiat anytime soon but I do believe the two are able to co-exist. For that to happen the user experience needs to be simplified a lot. That HTC phone is going in the right direction even if it does turn out to be a gimmick.
can you pm me i dont know howI totally believe in the future of cryto
