So you created your own DM groups in your niches? or you joined existing ones and bring members in? What do you think about the existing Telegram groups? and Fuelgram? Thanks
I created my own DM groups then i networked with the people in them.
Why?
Because once i was able to become friends with them i slowly gained their trust.
Which meant they invited me to new engagement groups.
If you do this you'll be golden. (warning it does take some work).
Fuel gram and telegram they all use dud accounts as the liker and the good accounts as the receiver.
If you've got the money they do sorta work but they are mostly just a number to inflate your ego.
Because if you've never got 1k likes it's pretty cool seeing it on one of your posts.
I following and unfollowing manually, it's very hard to be shadow ban. I have been shadow ban 2 times, because I unfollow too many accounts in one day (up to 1000 accounts); so my current strategy is follow 500 account per day and unfollow 500 account in another day.
I have read some information on the internet about engagement group, they said that the amount of like and comments from engagement group are virtual and may cause the account to be shadow ban. What do you think about this?
About using hashtag. Currently I don't have any strategies on how to use the hashtag. I simply use hashtag that have the most post related to my post. Of course, my post could not top the hashtag. Can you share about how to find and use your hashtag?
Getting shadow banned is very easy...
You should stop following and unfollow and build engagement groups.
The way engagement groups work is the accounts in that group.
As soon as you post should like your post when this happens it will go to their followers explore pages.
If the post is viral and you get a ton of likes and comments it's like a spiral effect it just keeps going to more and more explore pages. The only way you may get shadow banned is if it's a offensive post and it gets reported a ton... other than that you won't if you are using engagement groups.
And for the hashtags it's very hard but pick 5 big hashtags 1,000,000+ posts, 5 1,000,000 posts, 10 500,000 and 5 250,000 this is so you can rank on some and if you do get a viral post it will go to the big ones as well.
Thanks Jacob for your post/input and time!! I was afraid of hearing 'start a new account':-( As my account name is exactly my photography business name and website. IF I were to try to revive this account, would deleting my most my photos/posts (have 97 original photos posts at moment), then start following/liking/commenting a lot of the followers/models of the top photographers I like/respect AND start one of igevolve.com's services per posting back some of those photos (as they are some of my best to date work but I keep getting better as I went to college 21 years ago for photograpghy and been doing a long time But changed about 4 years ago to model niche...all in good taste and that is what I want to show on my account is the newer stuff/direction ) along with new photos of course?
I'm not clear on "i'd suggest paying for power likes go to huge accounts in your niche and pay them to like your posts"...does that mean research and find them and then DM them and ask what they charge/may I pay you to power like my photos? Sorry truly if that is a dumb question!

When you start a new account you can use the same username just change the your previous accounts name a second before you do it so it won't be stolen...
Yes you should follow people who are in your niche and comment and like their pics this is how Instagram sees what your niche really is.
But don't unfollow them unless you need to.
I meant going to huge accounts in your niche this is if you have the money and messaging them first if they'll join your DM group if not ask them how much they charge to like your posts...
These are accounts with like 500k to 1m plus for the best boost of growth possible engagement is a must tho so check if everything is legit.
If they like your posts and their followers are bots or dead inactive accounts you'll be wasting your money.

First you'll want to follow like and comment on peoples accounts who are in your niche.
When you do this Instagram will slowly change your explore page to those posts.
Because they know if you like that content and they show you similar content that you'll more than likely like again.
You see Instagram whole game is trying to get you to stay on the platform for as long as possible.
Why?
Because Facebook is getting less and less people staying on their platform which means they can't make money showing people ads if nobody is on the damn platform. That's where Instagram comes in they have perfected this with 500 million daily active users and 1 billion monthly active users.
So you'll either scroll through your explore page and find people in your niche or you can search hashtags and go looking for them in there once you find them DM them about joining your engagement group give value tho.
So since you now know that the explore page is where all the exposure is.
You want to get on that to go viral.
When people from the engagement group like your posts it will go to their followers explore pages and if it's a viral post it will get clicks likes and comments and it will start a spiral effect and start going everywhere like a bad rash.
This is how you go viral.
When this happens you'll get tons of companies messaging you especially if you're a personal page not a themed page.
You can also apply on website to become a ambassador and work with the company...
I have a reasonably big account (400k+ organic) and only seem to hit the explore page with videos. Videos are almost always getting around 150k impressions from the explore page, whereas my best-performing pictures only get around 5k. Any ideas?
For a while the algorithm was favouring videos more.
But it could also be that your photos are a lot more viral than your photos you are posting.
Remember you can only go viral if your followers, people searching hashtags and engagement groups like your posts.
If you don't get a lot of likes in a short amount of time it's very hard to get it to go viral.
Try writing more engaging captions or posts a story post of "new post".

Yes i use DM groups all the time.
I manually do them yes they are time consuming but i don't want to be banned by zuck lol.
And start building your account up a little then DM people in your niche and give value.
Get them into a engagement group and you'll start to grow rapidly.
Remember it's not very easy if you haven't learnt the ropes.
When i first started it took me a month to get to 1k followers and i worked my ass off for it.
The next month i grew 10k it just takes time...

Yes you can but if they're big accounts i'd suggest getting 5 different sims as you want as much safety as possible...
