What I've tried so far?

1. Social signals

2. Interlinking

3. Adding more content for relevancy

4. Rewriting the content

5. More PBNs with closely matched anchors

6. Playing with on-page SEO.

Nothing has helped me.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

1. Social signals: not for moving up 1 page
2. Interlinking: yes
3. Adding more content for relevancy: yes
4. Rewriting the content: no, unless it was bad
5. More PBNs with closely matched anchors: yes, but does not have to be closely matched anchors
6. Playing with on-page SEO: yes

I rewrote my content 2 days ago and gain massive ranking. The difference with my previous content is that :

- Before : I repeated my main keyword everywhere to create density.
- Now : I use images to create density and use my 40 <h3-h4> to push semantic keywords.

I passed form 11th (where I was struck since a month) to 1st (low comp of course).

Hope it help you.

Guess the previous content was over-optimized for the target keywords. Thanks for the tip. Will try this.

Nothing, it's natural for a KW to be stuck on page 2 for a long time. Unless you've overoptimized onsite or offsite, of course.

It's been stuck there for 6-7 months now. It's not moving no matter whatever shit I do at it.

It depends on every page/site, you can do tons of stuff if you have audited your site properly. One can optimise their content more (add more if needed), increase relevancy, optimise and diversify anchors, etc. You know what you have to do to your site/page when you know what is needed to do on that site/page, but thorough research is required.

Interesting. Do you optimized the H1 title also ?

what about the word count and the article quality of the competitors? Did you check those points?
Try to pass the word count and the article quality of the 1st page sites.

You can add more relevant content and optimize it. Also, interlinking is crucial, of course.

can you explain more about 40 <h3-h4> , it's not clear for me

What I've tried so far?

1. Social signals

I'll throw them at my homepage whenever I make a drastic change to the site design. Else, I don't buy them unless the site is brand new.

2. Interlinking

I've been focusing on interlinking more the past few months. I've seen great results on a page when the number of contextual interlinks exceeds the number of external links.

3. Adding more content for relevancy

You should always be adding new content.

4. Rewriting the content

It's good practice to monitor your main competitors' pages. Make sure your content has everything that theirs has. If it doesn't, add it. I rarely rewrite existing content unless it's to include more internal links.

5. More PBNs with closely matched anchors

Anchors depend on your current anchor ratio. But more PBNs usually does the trick.

6. Playing with on-page SEO.

You should always be optimizing this.
