I just did my latest experience about 301 ...

My website has a good ranking in many high competition keywords ... but I am still confused and need more instructions from the number of seo practitioners here ....

The question: what should I do after 301 is done, giving the power of backlinks in the old domain or the new one ??

no, my site was blocked by the government in my country

If the new domain is fresh (you just registered it), it might take a few weeks for the SEO juice to transfer over. If the website is on google search console, follow the instructions on moving to a new address.

Sending some new backlinks to your new domain might help push things along quicker, or at least have google crawl the new domain.

Do I need to provide backlinks in my old domain?

If you have done a 301 from an old expired domain with hq metrics to your target-money website, then you can expect the new link juice to kick into your site within the next 3 days time.
If it is indeed good link juice, your site will usually go up anywhere from 5 spots to 1 page, up the SERP.
If you did not see your ranking increase, then the old site that you did 301 to your money site, doesn't have good link juice, and possibly the metrics are wrong.
Only the good hq ones will bump up your site's ranking immediately within 3 days to 1 week.

Then the SEO juice will be almost the same on the new domain. ( I wonder if you gov can track the 301 and block your new domain too :? )
