When Did You First Hear About PBNs?

Every nameserver does not need a different IP, you may have 1 IP for both of your nameservers. The IP address that you must use is the one you assigned your domain to in the PBN hosting dashboard. The host can be ns1 and then ns2 for example.

Easiest thing to do would be to use Godaddy's own nameservers and just set up an A record where host is @ or your root domain and IP address is the IP you assigned your domain to. Don't forget to add CNAME record where host is www and it points to your root domain.

well its better to use the registrars ns, as its bigger and you blend in with the masses :) if you always use your own custom ns for all pbn domains it might be a footprint.

Hello
20 days after I started working on the website, I came to 7 in America. I used old web sites for this and provided links to 6 subtopics. Then he pulled out his first 100. The links are very good and definitely do not have spam points. I'm worried that I have to do something about this. Is there a trick to come back fast? I'm waiting for your answers. Kelimenin volume is 2 million. The Webmastertool process is immaculate.

I use domcop and expireddomains.net to find domains, can you please suggest me some other easy way to find domains?

Hi, Alex!

Big up for your topics! Enjoy it and this one so in time!

My questions:

1) In all of your answer you refers to 1 pbn as to 1 website. I thought that 1 PBN - is 1 network, 1 group of websites. Pls clarify what is PBN for you?

2) Are blogs in PBN really joined into network by interlinking domain, or it's not necessary at all and by network you/other PBN owners mean just all private blogs used for juice moneysites?

3) What you meant by "1, or 2/3, but not more than 20 links from PBN to the moneysite"? Per post at PBN domain? Per PBN domain? To the 1 moneysite? Or not more than 20 outbound links to all your moneysites from 1 PBN domain? Pls, tell us more about that limits.

Hello, how about make own NS and then use cloudflare for camouflage it? (Well, it's maybe a 'stupid idea', it's just suddenly appeared on my brain :p)

Uh @alexthepbndude , I have another question.
1. If you looking for drop domain in auction, how many minimal drop that you recommended for PBN? There's some article said if you looking for drop domain, try to find one that hasn't dropped twice and I already do it since the first time I learn about auction for buy PBN
2. About backlink, so many article said that when you looking for domain on auction, you must avoid domain with backlink from China or Russia, or for exactly, try to looking for domain with language that suits your country (almost impossible for me.) or just looking for domain with global language (English), but yesterday I just saw the article that say it's not problem for have a domain with backlink from China or Russia, but you must translate it first for the anchor text.

i personally dont trust cloudlfare as its a monitoring network, so wouldnt use it for my PBNs.

Alex, forgot to ask:

Somebody asked you before about CloudFlare - is it ok to use it and you told: no too much. My point is CloudFlare is almost like a WP for hosting:
- It gives your web sites standard 2 NS
- It shows their standard ips, each time differenet, with TOOOOONS of other sites of different kinds
- and all of it because of CF is a top, almost only one of its kind caching/CDN/antiDDOS/loadbalancing platform
- and ALL of this is for free and with a very easy setup (which can be automated)
- yeah, in some cases you can spoil your original hosting via additional DNS record. It's the only downside here as I see.

What is your thoughts? I realise you're stick to Diplomat's service which works great for you, but isn't CF can be the same for

Any reason? Well actually I dont too trust cloudflare too, because with their "free service", there must be some weakness. But if you use big hoster for use their registrar (GD, NC, HG and the other), the cost for hosting so high. While my budget for auction and host for each domain for 1 year max $100 (Yep, I'm try to push the cost till minimum spent)

it is a security monitoring network and has lots of shady neighboors sharing the IPs.
just use the ns from big registrars then you don't have a problem, as its normal and millions of domains use the same.
its also just a guess from people that google monitors the ns too, as nobody has any evidence.
sofar never had problems and i do this since around 15 years when the term PBN didnt even exist yet ;)

it is a security monitoring network and has lots of shady neighboors sharing the IPs.
And lots of clear as a tear white top projects. So even if it somehow will get into trouble it will be whitelisted manually.

says who? you wont know that and there often have been issues with it before, but then again i don't care what you do... feel free to use it, i wouldn't.. after all its coming from some people behind the old project honeypot, so why would i associate my PBN with guys like that, its just stupid :P

says who?
Says common sense. It's a public service for secure and make faster websites. You/me/Google/John Smith/Nyan Cat can't separate good projects from bad. Following your logic Wordpress is the most popular CMS for questionable and LQ sites (and that's true) and GoDaddy is the most popular reg for questionable and LQ domains (and that's true). But all 3 platforms way to popular among everybody, it's not a small at all to say "fck, let's finish it!".

And yes, mainstream people also use security software and services regardless what that services owners related to (Kaspersky Antivirus for example).

ah yes "way too popular" services never get banned, just like co.cc that all got deindexed by google a few years ago.. anyways with cloudflare its different as you share the IPs with shady sites, but thats not what bothers me most, its that its a monitoring network for anti spam and security issues that you put on top of your spam sites, makes no sense.. but suit yourself

itz_styx, ok, let's finish this discussion :) And wait for the Alex to see what he is thinking :)

Alex, I have one more Q. I found the aged domain on tasty scientific/medic/pharma subject, with a BLs from scientific libs and blogs. But it's in Spanish. And most of terms isn't a drugs names, so they are in Spanish either. I don't have any other resources related to niche, but terms are so trendy (cannabis opioids, situation with prescription drugs, situation with blackmarkets of drugs in 3rd world countries) that I want to try to do something with domain. Also one BL is from English scientific lib with many of this terms listed (list of sci pubs of the ex-owner).

My question is about languages and Google. From your experience, does it looks at same niches in different languages as the same (or very close niches)?

@Fenix-06

I'm afraid there are no 'fast tricks' to ranking anymore; at least not any recommended ones, especially for those long term SEO campaigns.

As for ranking high and then dropping, there could be too many reasons, therefore I'm absolutely blind to your problem without any knowledge of your site, content, niche, competition, linking methods, etc.

You can try to ping me via Skype (Alex_PBNSolutions) and I'll take a look.

@Iwanttowin

The process may be too time consuming and expensive if you don't need domains on a daily basis. I recommend you find a reputed domain provider and buy them for a premium.

@samlowry

1. Well, yeah - that's because of terminology that got skewed as more and more people started referring to PBN domains as PBNs lol. 1 PBN domain = 1 site, 1 PBN (network) = 1 network. But everyone is referring to SEO domains as PBNs these days, that's why the confusion.

2. The whole purpose of building a PBN (private blog network) is to artificially produce the effect of multiple industry relevant websites with no connection to one another linking to your website. If these were interrelated it would be an obvious footprint screaming manipulation. Inter-connected domains in a network are called link-wheels. You can rarely see someone using them these days, but even thought quite surprisingly, I still see some SEOs building them in quite a few niches; however, once someone finds a site they can easily track down your whole network and effortlessly report it.

3. Limits depend on the strength of the domain (quality and quantity of referring domains) and also how bad you need links. I wouldn't recommend going beyond 7-9 money site OBLs per domain. That's 7-9 posts hosting your links. You can have more posts with just content or content + authority links, just to diversify and make your websites look more legitimate.

I don't quite remember the context for "1, or 2/3, but not more than 20 links from PBN to the moneysite" so you would have to remind me that before we move any further.

@Julian Putra

You can use CF for diversity, not for camouflaging all the NS records of the domains in your network.

1. Ideally you want domains with no recorded drops, but if the domain is 10 years old and the drop occurred 9 years ago, then you really have nothing to worry about. The domain still has 9 years of legitimate age in the whois profile and is to be considered aged.

2. Those preaching against Asian or Russian links are too lazy to figure out if the domain is indeed spammy or not and if those anchors/links are pure spam or organic ones. Don't be like them, do your own due diligence research. If you're competing in a niche where finding domains belonging to that particular language/region is almost impossible, ignore the language and GEO barrier and focus on niche. Just get domains relevant to your niche.

@samlowry

It's ok to use CloudFlare. Just make sure you don't have their DNS for more than 10-15% of your network. It doesn't look natural.

@samlowry

Ideally you want niche relevant domains powered by links coming from your region and 100% relevant to your language. Nevertheless, sometimes it gets very difficult to find these so we are forced to either ignore the language/GEO requirement and focus on niche alone or ignore the niche and get domains very relevant to a certain region/market.

Example: You want to build a private blog network made of financial non-dropped Danish domains (.dk). However, you soon realize that there are no aged .dk domains and that their local registry doesn't hold any auctions for these at all. You also soon figure out there aren't that many dropped financial related .dk either.

So your option is to use English or any other EU/Scandinavian related financial domains and link to your money site OR/AND sometimes ignore your niche and just use aged .com/net/org powered by .dk links that can be smartly repurposed to link to your financial site.

Say you buy a domain belonging to a bankrupt kindergarten in Copenhagen and you re-create the site, producing an article where you praise the financial company XYZ for accepting that loan request to repair the building, etc.

It's all relevancy mind tricks.

There are many options.

Just use your creativity.

Hmm. From the article which Mr. Diplomat gave, you can make your name server on Godaddy to bla3x.yourdomain.com then Mr. Itz_styx said that "if you always use your own custom ns for all pbn domains it might be a footprint" (Well, somehow I'm agree for this once too) so using CF for blend with other is great choice, right?

1. Uhh, how can you know what the drop occured when?

2. I see, then, this is the step that I always do, can you tell me there's something wrong or no?

- prepare expireddomaintools, google, whois.domaintools, majestic, moz, smallseotools for bulk DA PA checker
- expireddomaintools, show filter for majestic : additional (com, net, org, info, co), majestic (CF 20, TF 20)
- Bulk check DA/PA at smallseotools (or sometime I use robingupta)
- If you get the drop domain with good DA/PA (20+), then check at google for that site still indexed or not
- If still indexed, go to whois domaintools for check drop. If no, go to another site
- If the drop still 1 or none, then go to moz for spam check. If the drop already 2 or more, then skip.
- If spam check 0-20%, then go to majestic for check TF niche, check backlink, and the other.
- If already good, and the price still affordable, then bid it :p

Still looking for another good way for the method if there's. Sorry for a longgg reply. Regards

We always suggest our clients to use a mix of all types of nameservers. This also includes using registrar nameservers, private nameservers and free/paid DNS services like Namecheap's free DNS, Cloudns, Dyn, Route53. There are tons of them out there. You can add Cloudflare to the mix, of course, to provide diversity, but then your IP will be hidden.

Also, it would be reasonable if your private nameservers are using a common naming system like ns1 and dns1, but if you feel adventurous you may use something funky like bla3x, but I wouldn't go crazy with them.

Keep in mind that your goal is to make your network look natural.

Whoa, you always show up even I'm just say your name without tag you sir. Haha.
Got it sir. Still want to make sure if all of my "Godaddy nameserver", all use CF gonna be a trouble or not and I think now I have the answer :)
Thank you sir Diplomat. Regards

It depends on the percentage of your domains using Cloudflare. I wouldn't add all domains under Cloudflare. Make sure you use registrar nameservers as well and some private nameservers.
