Where can I sell XXX / How much is my XXX worth?

When users post questions such as:

- where can I sell xxx?
- how much is my xxx worth?
- this is my service...how much can I charge?

This is often an attempt to get around the rules about selling or advertising outside of the marketplace. This is why we don't allow these types of questions.

We want you to understand BHW and be part of the community before you start selling your stuff, and this is something that @WizGizmo covered this beautifully.

If you want other members to review your service or product, then you can post a thread in 'Service Reviews & Beta Testers Help Wanted', but please don't try and sell anything to them at any point because that's against the rules.

If you want to sell a database, you would need to create a Marketplace Thread.

Do you really think this will fool us? When you post a question like this, it’s pretty clear you’re trying to get around our rules and sell something outside of the marketplace.

We don’t let newbies sell for a reason. We want you to understand BHW and be part of the community before you start selling your stuff. So don’t try and get around us like this, we know what you’re trying to do. @WizGizmo covered this beautifully.

I'm just going to add something to this:

I've seen some cheeky members try to get around this and the other sales rules by asking for "opinions" on their ad copies. It's obvious these members are trying to get around these rules, so any ad copy posts that come up on the forum will be removed and treated as a sales attempt.
