Is my website penalized

Hi,
I recently bought a new domain, but in google webmaster shows that my website is penalized .I am not sure why and I have no content in my website as of now, the only wp is installed

Maybe you buy an expired domain?

Check your domain in archive.org. The domain appears to have been used by a Chinese mining company.

Also check in Ahrefs for spam link building on the domain which might be the possible cause of it getting penalized.

Easy way to fix: Before creating your new website, simply file a reinclusion request (request review button) stating that you acquired/bought the domain and there is no relation to the prior owner or the content the prior owner published. Google then usually lifts the penalty immediately, especially since it's onpage related (pure spam) and not link related in your case. Just send the request, wait a few days and you should be fine and find a message that the penalty was removed.

Move ON, As you are starting a new site. Its better to buy a new domain then wasting your time on getting " PURE SPAM PENALTY" Removed.

The pure spam penalty is NOT based on links and a domain affected by is isn't automatically junk. Getting the penalty removed (if the old site is gone and there is a new domain owner) takes like 5 minutes and a week of time waiting.

So, there is a huge difference between removing this penalty from an existing site (almost impossible) and getting it removed as a new domain owner with a totally different site (super easy).

I knew a guy here who made big $$$ washing domains that others thought were "dead" before. If you know how it is worth it.

Final screenshot I found on Archive.org says it has something related to BCI regulation updates and the site was closed after that I think.

If you are seeing any penalities in Google Console then it may be penalized.
