Hi,

I've been programming for quite sometime now.
Currently still studying , but I've worked at a software company for a few months in the vacations.
As for now , I'm looking to monotize my skills.

I've tried serveral freelance websites. but with out any reviews no one will pick you.

I got experience with network programming/Games/Software.
C#/PHP/Javascript/Java

Does anyone know where to get freelance jobs? , Or idea's how to monotize my skills?

Maybe idea's for startup applications?

Black/White doesn't matter

Also without reviews they pick you it's just about how you sell yourself.

You got a website?

Now that would be some real magic as you can't PM :p

I'll send you one and take a look at it.

Ok, you might not now it yet but I'm Nederlands too ;)

Ah beter! Ik probeer beetje als freelancer mee tekomen.
Maar het lukt me niet om van start te komen

usally you get ask to do jobs thu big forums as you share your skill to help others, how i got jobs and work and well known.

word by mouth was for me .

I suspect good website might help and learn to promote a website.

there so many jobs as a freelancer can find work online easly just join them, there like a agency ....

you might need to show some real certs to prove your any good a portfolio.

zend cert , was a good proving point .

Funny, as a German I always got the impression I can perfectly read your language.
Back to the topic: depend on what is your priority. A good developer in Abap objects could earn 1200€ a day here, but you will need some expertise and knowledge. Therefore I would not work as a freelancer but as an employee of a larger enterprise. Most have high budgets for training and good projects to learn.
After a few years you have a proper CV to get easily good freelancer jobs.

If you wan‘t to have fun and freetime then you can script some code for a few bucks and hopefully reinvest some bucks for training. Programming skills are not the worth it is the ability to use the skills to help/enable/develop Business (robotic, machine learning, automation)

Best luck

Try give free service and in return ask for review. That should work to start your campaign.

Thats exactly where I'm looking , to script for some money to build up even more skills

As service provider, you should learn what people want and not what you want :)

You don't need to be a freelancer to earn from your programming skill. Just take the bold step learn the different money making methods here. Then use your programming skills to automate it and bank hard. This is what I do personally.

Oh god, it makes me sad when I read ABAP and developer in the same phrase :p:p:p

I don't see to much home office jobs for jr, but if you are sr, then it's a piece of cake to find that jobs!

But in my opinion, the best jobs aren't announced, so it's better to have some good networking

Heh, I learned programming last year so I have a few ideas.

1. As another guy said, find a method, then automate it (i use the selenium webdriver, it works quite well with python and java).

1,5. You could also team up with a non programmer to automate his method, then split the profits, you will probably end up doing the bulk of the work though if he just has an idea and you have to apply it. Still good if you don't know where to start though

2. Freelance, you already listed that it can be hard to find clients, at least on big sites like upwork but what you can do instead is find small local businesses and hit them up with an e-mail or something telling them that you can improve their website or build them a cool web application.

3. You say you have some experience in game dev (me too lol) so what you could do is make small simple games for android/ios then slap some ads on it and release it. Could make a nice extra passive income seeing as you could probably make a small game in a week or two, if you have some cash to invest you can get someone else to do the art/sounds/concept idea

3,5. Building on the other ideas you could propose to small business owners that they could advertise their brand through a small game made just for their business

Just some quick ideas, good luck buddy!
