Hello, I'm s1mer and I'm a beginner in dropshipping. I'm currently working on my first store ever.
I've been editing photos / videos with Photoshop / Cinema4D / other programs for a while (Since I was 14, now I'm 18) and I'm a bit perfectionist when it comes to website's design, color scheme, navigation, descriptions, everything.
I never created a store before, neither a website, so this is my beginner journey in a very competitive place.
How I've began interested in dropshipping:
I was always watching videos about money and how to make them and then YouTube recommended to me a video about dropshipping. I've never heard of it so I was very curious. I watched the entire video (30 minutes long) (I've watched a 3 hour long video before about the flat earth because I was bored, so 30 minutes is a really short time
) and then I couldn't stop watching this channel's videos. I started watching videos about dropshipping around 8 hours / day, interviews, everything related to this topic. I joined some FB groups related to dropshipping, started to see how it is and see some dropshipping stores. That's when it hit me, I've seen some dropshipping stores that, literally, were designed like shit, they weren't customer friendly, the navigation was awful, yet they were making money. (At lesat $300 / month profit, the minimum wage in my country is around $247 in hand ffs) I've told myself that I can do better than that and after 4 months of watching and reading everything I could find on the internet about dropshipping I've started my journey.
I've decided that my niche will be jewelry, even if it is one of the most saturated niches right now. I usually take the "Go big or Go home" way, and I also like this niche! I didn't wanted to go with a general store, I find that boring and not interesting. I also want to have fun in my journey and learn everything I can.
I've had no SEO knowledge until I found this forum. Thanks to you guys I've learned the importance of blog posts, what are the internal links, what are the backlinks, ways to get those without paying a huge amount of money, anything SEO related.
General information:
Budget: $250.
Money spent until now: $43 (Shopify subscription + the domain).
Number of products imported until now: 66 (Women / Men rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings)
The domain is brand-new, unused before, so it has no backlinks and anything SEO related.
I've used an app to edit all my ALTs for the photos, making them like this: product name - store name.
I'm using a free theme right now, but I can do anything I want with it and don't see why I should buy a paid theme atm. Maybe in the future I'll find reasons and purchase one.
The main problem is that the business is not legally registered... I have to find a way to do that.
I can't register it right now because I or my family don't own a house, our ID's are made on my mother friend's home and we live in a rented apartment, so no address to create the business on.
I'm looking forward to learn about SEO and about dropshipping.

This is my checklist until now:
This is the form I used to make sure I can use my supplier's videos:
4 days ago I got it accepted by 2Checkout, hooray!
I've seen everywhere that they usually review your store after 3-5 working days, that they will ask for invoices or they will see that it is a dropshipping store and ask for a dropshipping contract with the supplier. BULLSHIT. I got a response in 24 hours and got accepted without any further questions. They didn't even seen that it is a dropshipping store I think. They didn't asked for previous invoices or any dropshipping contract. Phew, that's some saved time right there, so I believe that I've made the store good looking, otherwise I can't explain why they accepted it without any questions or requests. All I have to do is to complete a W-8 form, I'll send them a W-8BEN and see how it goes.
