I’m going to start another BHW journey to help keep me motivated and hungry for success. I’ve had some success with a job for the last few years, which has kept me busy. However, I feel like its time to jump back online as I have moved to part-time in my career and would like to keep busy on my down time.

--------------------

I will open a Shopify store and dropship products Oblero using http://dhgate.com & http://alibaba.com and will promote my store using mainly Instagram, using various different techniques and tools.

I’ve decided on a product after a few weeks researching. There is a demand for all year round and will be offering worldwide shipping – it’s a relatively new product with a ‘buzzing’ trend for it online currently. I will be offering 3 variants of the product mainly colour & size – I will have a rough profit margin of 60-70%.

I've done http://Shopify.com stores in the past with some success, but I have never quite reached 10k per month, at least not for recurring months in a row.

--------------------

I have the website all set up – hosted on a local hosting company with the DNS servers pointing to Shopify. The website is ready to accept payments. I've used Shopify in the past - always been happy with their service so I see no point in choosing another host.

The instagram account is quite new with 13 followers & 2 posts, I will upload and schedule content through their service. I will use this as my main method of attracting customers and depending on how fast I grow I may also pay for some shoutouts from relevant profiles.

Total Costs;

- Shopify (1 Month) $29
- Domain $8
- Gainsta Service $19
- Shoutouts $???

Total Sales;

- $0

I look forward to sharing my success, I will try and post multiple times per week with an update and let you know how its going. My aim is to reach $10,000 monthly revenue!

This will be interesting - looking forward to follow the thread

Any particular reason you’re using Shopify? I spent a lot of money on them to get my site optimized for conversions. Took me 2months to start making enough Just to cover the fees

Good Q - I feel Shopify make everything so simple, with the whole admin dashboard, user interface and how easy it is to set up products. I agree the fees can be fairly expensive with other competitors. Shopify offer an app called 'Oblero' which makes the whole dropshipping process simple and orders can be completed within 1 click.

good luck bro!!! keep update.

send me PM with your store site.. check and give some advice.

Day 1;

- I've reached 75 followers on my Instagram Account.
- I had 13 views to my store & 0 sales.

Day 2:

113 followers on my account - slowly growing.

Still no sales, 11 views today

It's better to set realistic goals at start.
anyway, good luck with your journey and who knows maybe :)

Would suggest you to use GMT2 or Jarvee for botting
Good luck for your journey :)

What did you specifically to optimize your Shopify store? Shopify stores are already optimized (mobile and desktop) even if you pick the free themes that they offer. Load times are fast too because the stores are hosted on Shopify's servers. I'm not sure where you spent your money or why.

Surely you mean Dropshipping through Aliexpress right? You can't really do it from Alibaba because you'd need to buy stuff in bulk.

Another way to save yourself on expenses is to make a Shopify developmental store. In short, it's a Shopify store with an unlimited trial basically until you make over 50 sales or rack up over $200 in app/subscription charges. Once you do cross any of those thresholds, it's the regular $29/month. Shopify developmental stores are perfect for people just looking to test the waters with eCom or Dropshipping. I would highly suggest making dev stores if you want to test something or a niche you aren't too sure about.

Read more about dev stores here - https://help.shopify.com/en/partners/dashboard/development-stores

I don't know much about Gainsta but I would suggest manually building the account. All you need to grow is to post relevant and niche-related content with good hashtags. Follow/unfollow still works and I've personally made good money doing that method with my stores' IG accounts but now I'm focusing more on branding right from the get go.

Good luck!

Hey guys! Day 7 now - been a week

We're now just over 275 followers - not bad for a week. I ended up doing some SFS with some small accounts, not convinced it actually helped at all but hey.

Still no sales.. hmm. Going to switch up a few of the front page items and see if its just the products that people aren't interested in!
