how UK rich guy survive?

I am not ignoring the stats. I am just saying that it is just better to live in an European country and pay 45% tax than living in a developing country and pay 30% tax and get nothing out of it. I hope you get it. Perhaps, you should read my original post again ;)
Of course i read that, all i had a problem with was your term "30% tax for moderate income", i agree with everything else you said :)

Well okay let me rephrase that to "30% tax if you manage to earn well". Happy now? :p

Even if you have all the money of the world, he will come back to the same pockets

In belgium its 37% or 55% depending on your corperation

EU taxes are big but you have many, many social benefits for people. Simple example: schools, in EU they are free from kid to university students. We haven't any problem with student loans because everything is free.

Another example: "orlik" place with mini football and basketball, Poland has build 2600 objects like this. Free for all, no fees

Another example, national stadium:

Hmmm.... do the math.

Rich guy makes 1 000 000$ a month with 55% taxes.
Average guy makes 500$ a month with let's say 5% taxes.

And who of them needs to survive?

For Us Here its 24% tax still it pains for sure

Thread moved.

The biggest issue with US taxes is that normal people haven't anything from this cash. Of course, USA have roads but EU have too.
But if I would pay $11k for single hospital day or expensive like hell insurance...grrrrr
Pay for schools? Madness
Some health problems? Private insurance or starve.

Do you guys know why European cars are cheaper in USA? Because US goverment have people in ass. Before Germany send cars to USA, they disassamble additional airbags and electronic systems.
We are sending to USA worse cars because USA don't force own producents to use better safety systems. We can't compete with US prices, so it's required to send worse cars.

Romania have a 40%+ tax.
The minimum wage is around 408.99 Euros and you get 236.78 Euros. Trust me, you can't survive with that.

In france, the cryptocurrency traders pays about 56% tax for each benefices...

It's 50% if you're a sole trader. 50% on everything. Always start a LTD company or you won't survive

Since they're so great, they should tax more. 100% sounds about right. Then you can get the benefits of free everything. You'll be living in Nowa Huta (since you're Polish) - with turrets on the rooftops to fight house to house against an American invasion and basement garages (but no cars) - but hey, free everything.

I think most would stop bitching about taxes when you get medical bills and other "beneficial and necessary" social services paid for.

If you're in the US, a major medical event can possibly fuck your life up for good.

$42 to fucking hold your own baby right after birth (skin to skin contact) https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-37555048
$5K for a CT scan (some countries cost only $40~$80 or even free)
$10K for blood work (WTF????)
$50K for stents (seriously?)

I remember reading in the news about some dude in Texas getting a heart attack. He was given a bill for $100K+ and this is after insurance. What sucks if that if he lived in Europe, Canada, Japan, and perhaps the rest of the developed world, the majority of the medical costs would be taken care off. hahaha

Still love America though. World's best free market.
