Clickbank in 2018?

Hey,

First of I realize this is question is posted probably weekly in these forums and its annoying to any regulars who visit this section however the only things I've read about clickbank recently is negative.

Simply put is click bank worth getting in to in 2018? I'm thinking about purchasing a Domain and hosting and sticking up a wordpress review site and try posting it on some forums related to the niche, is anyone still actively using clickbank and making good profits off it?

I'm not looking to earn thousands, im hoping this will give me a better understand of IM and SEO if anything else.

I can't give feedback as for the exact method that you're going to try.. it might work. I can vouch that yes, CB is still profitable in 2018, and I believe it always will be. I've been an affiliate with them for years, I struggled in the beginning but eventually got the ball rolling and it hasnt stopped rolling since. There are some negatives that come along with them, and I wont point them out because some of it is just speculation and some personal opinion. But I will say, if you have good targeted traffic and find the right product(s) that there is good money to be made. Give it a shot, just dont give up right away if things dont kick off from the start.. it takes a bit of trial and error.

Look at it like starting a new business. In the beginning, this means lots of work (more than you would if you had a 9 to 5), lots of false starts, lots of frustration and negative revenues. But, if you know what you're doing and you are a persistent, hardworking mothertrucker, than yeah, clickbank can be one hell of a profitable life-changing business! It changed my life and I personally work with affiliates who do over $1,000-$4,000 daily from CB promotion alone and who all started from scratch. A couple had an IT background but most did not and learnt everything on their own.

As I alluded to already, it is not all flowers and roses though and realistically speaking clickbank will not work for 95% of the people who get started with it. Nothing to do with clickbank though - it has to do with the fact that 95% of people do not have the work ethic or discipline it takes to make it outside the 9 to 5 work routine. Will it work for you? Dunno, are you in the 95 or the 5% bracket?

I also second the thx for the replies, makes me want to get back started too. Fortunately enough, I know where my weaknesses lie, picking a profitable niche (which I don't think is a huge problem), and targeting the right audience (picking the right keywords which I know is the HUGE problem). Got burned in PPC a few times. That being said, are there any threads here in BHW that discusses those things [ultimately I'd like to automate most of the stuff but I need to learn how to do that first].

Glad you said this, I thought that too, but didn't have enough experience to prove it since I haven't made a sale with Clickbank yet. When you say list building, the first thing I think of is an email list...is that what you're talking about?

Clickbank is huge right now. Checkout some of the health and fitness offers. They are blowing up right now on Facebook.

I hate the health niche because it's so deep(competition, scammy)..... but I use to bank from clickbank in 2006($1,000+ daily) and really abandoned it back in 2008. Now it's 2018 and I'm debating about going back into it instead of writing multiple ebooks myself. Mainly because my traffic now comes from opt in lists that I have established over the years that are niche based.

The problem is moreover, once you build a list you still need the domain with article so it doesn't bounce off in an email with your provider. Unless you use some type of cloaker..... or some other email service that I'm unaware of

That's a joke right? Your traffic is probably just dog shit. Clickbank has some of the best converting offers online, period.

Vendors on Clickbank have to spend thousands to make sure their offers convert. Of course there are shitty offers on there that noobs just throw together, but if you aren't an absolute fucktard spaz you'll realise you should promote offers with 100+ gravity because these are actually converting for many affiliates.

A lot of time and money is spent on marketing materials, affiliate promo tools and more. Us vendors like to make the job easy for affiliates to make a lot of money.

$1k+ paydays are common for clickbank affiliates using the right tactics promoting the right offers.

AND clickbank ALWAYS pays out.

But yeah sure go to one of those small networks which provide the affiliates nothing but a link to promo the offer with , and potentially ban you and steal your money when it comes to paying out

Just get started, aff marketing is still alive, it's just harder because most hop links are banned in ppc.

I am getting back to Clickbank I am pretty sure it works. When I was doing it 3 years ago I was able to make 5k on automated campaign. You just need to make sure you know what you doing.

It still works pretty much the same way, if we check google trends it's not going anywhere! It's just harder to promote because FB does not allow hop links but you can get around it by creating aff review page or video review!
