I never liked the networks marketing, but a few days ago a friend came and told me a little about Amway, and it seems that it is a solid business.

Amway is multi level marketing - you only make decent money if you recruit a lot of people to work under you.

Amway and herbal life dont have the best reputations in the network marketing world, they are network marketing companies however they both walk a very very fine line between network marketing and a ponzi with their business model and how aggressive they target new recruits.

At the end of the day if you are a people person and have the drive to talk to a dozen people a day and do retail work, you could make a lot of money. But it's far from as easy as any recruiter makes out. Can you make money with it, fuck yeah you can! Do most people lose money...Fuck yeah they do.

Just tell the guy you will think about joining when he has made $10,000 in profit, that should shut him up for a LONG time. If he is your friend I would personally tell him that there is a chance of a negative ROI and then there should be no problems if it all goes tits up and he spent a ton of money on ads with you.

If ads for those companies worked you would see them in your timeline all the time. all I see is people spamming links for free on pages and groups.

All the products are very costly because they are concentrated.

Yeah they have high quality products but since its multi level marketing, it's difficult to make money.

Amway is probably one of the best known MLM/Network Marketing companies.
Unlike some they are actually legit but MLM/Network Marketing is a terrible way to make money for most people.

Your friend might want to take you to an event/meeting or conference, don't go, they can be cult like and you can become swept up in the BS.
Have tried it a couple of times many many years ago and my advice is to stay clear from it.

Steer clear of MLM if you value your personal friendships. Most programs push people hard to market to anyone and everything they know in their personal sphere of influence, its how they survive. Great way to turn off friends and weaken family ties.
