So the title says it all has any of the BHW members received this award? Asking because many of the forum members run BH channels so there is always a chance they might be using fake details...

A guy I know personally showed his Silver creator award today and it really looked good...dude seems to be running a very legit YT channel

Not a youtuber myself but I know quite alot of legit youtubers with silver button and a few with the golden buttons too. It looks pretty neat and gives the feel of being back to school.

I am owing a Youtube channel which has around 150 k Subs now, i have applied for the Youtube Creator Award around 2 Times already and they said i was not eligible for it. I can paste you part of the response that i got from them :

Hi there,

Thanks for waiting. I just received a response from the internal team and upon review, we’ve determined that your channel is ineligible to redeem Creator Awards based on current Awards criteria (which may include, but not be limited to, not having active copyright or Community Guidelines strikes, having legitimate subscriber counts, your account otherwise being in good standing as determined by YouTube in its sole discretion, etc.).

Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide any further assistance on this issue at this time.

We appreciate your understanding.

Yes, in the beginning it was kind of blackhat but ive eventually stopped and not 1 of my subscribers was bought. Well, fuck that.
Also, ive heard from a lot of people that they actually recieve a notifcation for the awards way to late. I've heard cases where it took 1 year + for them to make your channel eligible for it.

Yes its pretty common to have the notification after couple of months or even after reaching 200-250k subscribers.

A wall of 12 silver buttons and 1 gold buttons in the center. (and one more i redeem last week) but the merit comes back to all the team i'm working with

As proxified said, it can takes some time (weeks even months) for the notification to pop (a blue banner at the top when you're in the creator studio.) but we never had any problem when redeeming it.

On the order status it say " Your Creator Award will be handled in 3-4 days and shipped to your address within 1-2 weeks. ", it was redeem Aug. 28 so we'll see.

But i miss the old design, they made some serious savings. Before it was a button inside a wood frame behind a glass, and all of this was sent in a pretty black "Youtube" box.

Now it's just made of metal with a mirror button (perfect for egocentric youtubers ahah) and the box served also as a shipping box so it's all torn up and cover of ducktape when it arrives.
