Domain NEVER registered | 5322 Backlinks | How can i use it?

Hi, i found a domain never registered, with more than 5000 backlinks. They're all trusted blog's comments. The link is in the "personal website" box of the author. The domain receives backlink from 2011, all in the same niche, from hundred of good referring domains, but it was never registered.

How can i use it?

I thought about a 301 redirect to some blog (i see that it works) or start a money blog.

The bad thing is that the anchors are not so good: just a 20% with brand name, the others are just people's name that comments on the web.

What would you do?

I would set up a site on it; not sure of the niche but a site would the the first thing I would try and see what kind of rankings you get with the niche you choose.

Should that not do anything after a couple of months 301 would be the way I would go.

Yes it's a good idea, the domain name is not related to any niche, but links comes all from tech sites

Yes i'm sure. The domain is something like "idonttellyou com" (but nicer than this), so every one that want to be funny and insert that domain in "personal site" box send it a backlink. So this site earned more than 5000 links and never existed

Well I hope you caught it fast then because it's golden! Install a wordpress and if possible get the log file and see how many times google hit the homepage per day, good indicator of strenght of the domain.

I know, but i think it's better than a brand new domain? Do you agree?

Add 20 or so high quality articles and see if it ranks. If it does, then expand it into a money site.

Solid plan, I'd give it a try, too, small but laser targeted site in the same niche if it can be monetized in a useful way. Hard to predict if it works/ranks since these kinds of link have some toxic potential as well, similar to "sponsored themes" or webdesigners linking themselves from all client site footers. But hey, even if it doesn't rank you can use it for other puposes, a no brainer at registration price.
