I don't know you guys already know about this or not...

BUT now you can put #Tags in your YouTube videos title, description and extras etc

How you gonna use this... Would you share some of your thoughts here???

I haven't noticed any changes in the dashboard. In my opinion it's stupid, but let's see how it affects SEO.

Using it for a while now, i like the # addon to the video title under the vid.. Can't see yet if it is positive for my seo

Might be a positive thing as soon as yt users start to use tags for searches.. might lead them to some newer videos for some smaller niches easier than before without the need of great video rankings..

Ive had this for like 2 months already, just put a few in your description and they pop up on top. So basically just hashtag your keywords

thanks OP, this is giving me a good idea to test, to use #uniqueKW that do not exists anywhere. using it ONCE and only and to see if and how fast that word is getting indexed on YouTube and on google (if it will get indexed at all)

BTW the "Trending #2" label is not related to the new a hashtags, it was like this for years on trending videos...

Did you know you can use websites such as : Ritetag.com

to find which tags are getting the highest hits? I believe (again I have no evidence to prove so far) that tagging our videos with hashtags may pull in SEO values.. and may still be unsaturated. As I test Ill use ritetag to get some high traffic hashtags and see what happens. Also tweeting your video under those hashtags cant hurt... amiright?
