Urgent Paypal help needed

So I am trying to link my bank account to my Paypal account and it wont let me link because the previous Paypal account I had has already linked this bank account with it. Paypal gives me an error saying it's already linked to another Paypal account. I do not have access to my previous account as I never used it

What do I do?

You should open a new bank account. If your previous account has been limited or you're not able to delete the bank account information, you're not able to use it for a new one.

yes, once used bank account never tie up to another PayPal Account. To open new bank account and add it.

Even if I give them a call can't they just close the previous account and let me link the bank to the current account that I am using?

The previous account was not limited or anything it's just that I forgot the details I know its carelessness from my side...

You don't want to do that; you do not want them to know you had a previous account.

Best to use another bank account, don't give paypal any reason to do anything crazy trust me

Alright, with the horror stories the forum has witnessed surrounding Paypal I will just add another Bank account
