Since we spoke

Aug 8 - 1hr 2minutes & 26 seconds downtime

Aug 9 - 2Hr 5 Min & 2 seconds downtime

Aug 10 - 2Hrs 27 minutes & 1 second downtime

Now - down (for who knows how long).

I'm posting this an hour after you - I only just found out my sites are down. Not even going to bother complaining anymore. Just wait until it's up then find a new host and transfer my sites across.

I'm a client myself and have had a fair share of issues since things when from Haste to Centex and even told the OP I was done via email and was moving to another hosting service.

I didn't at the time as I got tied up and he went hard to make sure I was satisfied.

There was an issue I was not even aware of as I was not getting emails to one of my accounts and a client called me on the phone to let me know she was sending emails and they were bouncing.

I put in a support ticket and after a little back and forth it got resolved.

I'm not moving my sites; I was going to but I see that the OP's team is working hard to iron out some of the bumps in the road that I've encountered. Sure, it cost me clients and money to stay with him but I think it is a smart business move to stay with a company that has traditionally had a solid track record that has only recently had issues.

Everyone has problems in their business and stuff happens.

Everyone.

Looking at the long term track record makes a lot more sense than a knee jerk reaction of moving from host A to host B in my opinion.

Do what you think if best for your sites/business, @lifemega, but as a person who has been in business for a year or two it makes sense to me to go through some of the growing pains with the provider than rolling the dice on another one.

Fair enough - that's your choice. But did your sites go down again after you posted this? Because mine did. How long does this have to go on for before it's reasonable to say I've had enough?

@lifemega

You keep posting here but you have yet to give me a ticket number so I can check your ticket. The ones that had issues have been migrated to our standard servers and there issues have been fixed.

We are going to go ahead and migrate the rest of the clients as well to our servers and send out notice to them on updated name servers and IP. This would fix any other issues that are out there right now.

But if you dont send me a ticket number I can't look into your issue and get the issue fixed for you.

No, they have not gone down since I posted... straight up I might have even been a bit of a dick in this (@CenTex Hosting probably won't deny that) as my frustration level was pretty high and if I can't get emails or my sites go down it costs me real money.

I went through the process as shared by him and his support team as they moved my reseller account and the sites inside it to another server(s).

When things change for a company things don't always go smoothly but if you look at the foundation of the company it makes sense (to me anyway) to work though the issues with them so there is long term quality service.

Why should I have to get a ticket for you to say that there's a problem caused by A, B or C that's affecting X number of accounts and our apologies but we're fixing it?

Anyway, I do have previous tickets and I was told it's fixed then it happened again. Those tickets were #338186 and #924554. Since then my sites have gone down and then have been put back up again at least twice. The first time I was dealing with Brady via email and he was great to deal with. As I stated on July 30th - that's about 2 weeks ago, yes? - to Brady "I want to make clear that my emails have in no way been done in anger - just frustration. I have been replied to by 5 different people (including yourself) and it appeared to me there were some inconsistencies in what I was being told." Brady was forthright and polite and apologetic but also left me with the impression it wouldn't happen again. But it has. So I ask again - How long does this have to go on for before it's reasonable to say I've had enough? Are you saying this is all resolved now and all my sites have been transferred to a new server? If so - great! Can I expect that this won't happen again?

Regardless, whether it does or does not I'm not posting in this thread again. I'm not here to bag anybody out and my apologies if it comes across that way.

Website down, cpanel down can't access it to transfer my websites to a different hosting. Hastehosting was great but not this.

@lifemega I will look into your two tickets that you posted and see what is going on with yours.

@RedLix I need a ticket number so I can look into your issue.

Hello, I'm near to buy a hybrid server from @CenTex Hosting , but I'm bit scared by latest posts. I quit from my previous provider due to the down time of the server (and due to the support that tells me your're on unmanaged vps, your server is ok, so it's your problem (but the problem was on the server!)).

suggestion?

My VPS still fine. Had some lagspikes when DNS was getting sorted as I was with haste also but after that no problems.

bought at 18.26 italian time. @CenTex Hosting hybrid server, can't access to whm/cpanel and VNC refuse connection. SSH goes in timeout to all 5 ips provided... Ticket Opened, and a kind a bot every two hours send me the message "I'm actively reviewing your support request and will get back to you as quickly as possible with more details.". From the consolle it tell me the server is "Online".

Hope to see my Server online very soon.

@PigItaly

When you bought the server the SSH login info was sent out to that is instant after the order is approve. Then it goes into a que for cpanel to be install. I believe you have already gotten your login info with cpanel set up done. If not this is not a support channel please put in a ticket and they will respond with your logins.

I’ve contacted the support via ticket as the welcome mail says, they install whm and cpanel. All seems to work now.

Excited to test my brand new server. Tomorrow I’ll start the transfert of a part of websites.

I’ll review the server soon

been getting "this site can't be reached" when trying to reach my site which is hosted through centex. This has been happening periodically throughout the past couple of days. Very disappointing as I never experienced this with haste hosting, hope this gets resolved...

This was my up from the last week:

Site is down at the moment too.

@Hetneo

Do you have a support ticket in? If you do please let me know the ticket number as I only see one ticket open right now and its for RDNS settings.

Not yet, I'm not too stressed about it. Normally I only create tickets when there is over 24 hours downtime (although it's getting close). It's the overall uptime that needs to be improved.

I'm with @BassTrackerBoats on this vv

Everyone has problems in their business and stuff happens.

At least you are facing up to the challenge and attempting to repair it. More than I can say for some hosts I've come across.

@Hetneo

well if you can message me the domain name so I can check for you. All clients from haste shared and reseller accounts have been migrated over to a stable server and email were sent to update name servers. If you are a KVM or openVZ your servers were migrated about 2 weeks ago. IP address and all settings were keep the same.

If you can let me know what plan you are on and the domain I can check it for you. Without there is really nothing that I can do
