Hello guys,

I've managed to rank my youtube videos in Top 5 spots multiple times. Keywords average about 5k-20k/monthly searches.

Regardless of my video being in Top 5 spots - still it's not ranked in google. Literally I search for that keyword even go under "videos" tab and you can't find video there.

So my question is - How To Rank Youtube Video On Google ?

Will creating 10-20 tumblr, wordpress etc. blogs with do-follow links and creating spun articles (about 100 words long) help my ranking ?
As far as I know it should create some backlinks (still I'm noob when it comes to Google :/

Are there other videos ranking for the same keywords that are trying to rank for in Google or not ?

Not all categories or keywords have a 'video' suggest on Google search. This is not entirely random it is just a quirk of Google. As certain topics get more exposure or are better suited as a video contented compared to a written article hence the video suggest.

As for you unable to find your video under the 'video' tab it has something to do with relevancy (as all video sources are used)

Depends from keyword to keyword, but not even under "Videos" tab my vid isn't there and there are like 50+ vids

Through shit tons of PRs and Links

Study the competition sites or videos that are ranking using the keyword, then mimick their link profile and site as best you can.

From a test:

2000 Ms keyword (Review)

I embedded the video as video content on WordPress. (On my 1 year old niche relevant domain)

Made links to that post.

Also embedded the videos on some of the pbns.

I started to rank in video section of the result.

Then I wanted the video to rank on the main "web" serps.

A 4th spot was reserved for a YouTube video...

Typing shit load of content in the description and social signals helped me to rank on 4th spot.

My site started to rank at #2-3 and #4 was the video.
So good domination I must say. With only 2 months of work :)

This. If you don't see any videos ranking already in the regular serps for that keyword, you can pretty much kiss your chances goodbye. If not hard as hell, it'll be impossible to rank a video on the serps for a keyword, if there is none already.

This. For some reason, just depends on the topic/keywords, Google doesnt show videos in the serps. Over time less and less keywords had videos showing up.

Disregard that advice. Spamming videos these days doesn't work as good as it use to. Quality > Quantity. Unless of course the competition for the video is so ridiculously easy. But I always support Quality anyway due to the longevity of the rankings being longer lasting.

Exactly. Your video description is your "article" for the on page seo of that video. Focus on that area as much as you can, and it'll help with rankings. Social signals too. But really, any keyword on google that has videos ranking already is able to get a new video popped up there.
