This is something that some of you may be familiar with, but to be honest, I wasn't.
I was just experimenting, making activity and trying to reach more followers to my (completely) new profiles and make them stronger.

So what I did: First, I made my new profile, confirmed email, made it look legit, made a few boards and saved some pins, the whole package. Next, I wrote 'follow back' on the search box on Pinterest and I selected the option 'people'.

I was amazed to see how many people are named, eg. 'Name - I Follow Back'.

So I started following these accounts and within one night, I got 50 people who followed me back.

So it might not be much for established business profiles, but for beginners who are familiar with the struggle, I think it's helpful.

Just don't overdo it, take it slowly and your new account should be nice and strong in no time. Cheers!

Be ready to be spammed by the guys name " Follow me back". :) On positive side, this is good idea for account sellers.

Exactly :) For the first time in my life, I'm actually looking forward to creepy guys named Follow Me Back. I might even consider replying to their messages if that's what it takes for a profile to look 100% legit.

But it really gets you started, there are websites selling 50 followers for $5 - $10, and this way, you're getting them free - and quality-wise, I bet these are better than the ones they drive to your profiles :)

Never really played around with Pinterest but bookmarked!

Funny video on the subject. Sorry for off top, I didn't hold back.

Just an addition to the first post, you can also play with 'follow you' 'follow for follow' etc, all the combinations I tried so far existed.

I opened a Pinterest account a few years ago and now I have several thousand followers. But the interesting thing is in fact that I have been almost completely inactive there, but my follower base still grows. I am certain I would have much, much bigger follower base that I was active on the website.

Too much follow in a day pinterest may caught you spam. So keep maintain as a regular activity, follow 10-15 a day.

I follow more than 15 people a day, mostly by 'follow back' because once you reach a certain number of followers, people start following you (looking for a 'follow back'), but also have a lot of activity on the profiles (creating boards, pinning, commenting, chatting), so I guess it's fine that way.
