[DISCUSS] Spotify Method (Black Hat)

As an artist, becoming famous is the ultimate goal (Let's be real)
So I've been thinking about this Black Hat method.
As we all know, we can buy spotify plays, follows, monthly listeners, and things like that, right?
It goes as deep as Country targeting.

So for instance, I have a song, then I do the boosting using panel constantly.
Eventually, you'll going to appeared at the (Your Country) TOP 50 / Hits, right?

Then, you'll get organic spotify followers, more people going to notice you, and hopefully, contacted by record label.

"Easy to say"
Yes, might not as smooth as it is, but, look at the Black Hat services we have here in this forum.
Combine the method of panel, press release, and other things to get your name out there like doing SEO for your stage name, putting wikipedia about you, social media etc. Basically get your music and your name out there.

Uhh, the big dream.
Submit to Instagram and Facebook to become verified.

This is just what I am thinking. Haven't done this, but I think I will.
What am I missing? Seems too smooth.

Of course, but you need money to do this. Vicious circle if you don't have some, vertuous circle if you already have money.

Be careful though, if you buy a lot of plays etc... on spotify, your songs might appear related to other "botted/boosted" songs so you miss that organic reach too, and you might get stuck until you hit a playlist like "top 50" or such, but to do that you need a lot of money and some luck.

I personally haven't understand inside out about the royalty payouts / in short, how much they pay.
But I think with JAP / other provider, it's pretty cheap per play or per followers.
I think it's just gonna need like 100 bucks or less to be appear on the regional playlist.

Note: country top 50 usually around 20.000 plays for 50th spot, until 200.000 plays for 1st spot.
And if we do the math, the cheapest Spotify play on panel is $1.30 / 1000 plays.
To reach 30.000 plays it will only be $39 bucks.

Will this work? I'm wondering.

Actually spotify pays $0.004 / play.
With method I described above let's do the math

Pay:
$1.3 / 1000 right?
means total of 30.000 plays for $39 bucks.

Received:
$0.004 x 30.000 = $120 bucks.
What am I missing?

Nothing. Read the Bulgarian "scam" links from @Asif WILSON Khan , he did this:

* Got the licenses for shitty songs
* Made playlists of said songs
* Bough accounts (legally, not hacked or anything)
* Botted the plays with his own paid accounts
* Got a million in profit from the difference (royalties - cost of account) before anyone noticed (and it wasn't spotify who noticed, it was his competitors in royalties because he was being stupid on how he distributed the plays and it totally stood out).

Bonus: Broke no laws, makes the money sweeter.

It would work but your music has to be really really high quality and appeal to a large audience or record labels will smell something suspicious

Sorry, but it pains me to read your words.
I'm a singer aswell. Do you know the struggle to get noticed in the industry?
First, you have to get in the record label.
Oof, not quite fast. Even we have the talent and stuff, still, money involved.
We need to make a CD (Demo)
Yet, we need to build crowd by ourselves first to be signed by record label.

Do you know the hollywood game?
As far as I know, they're all using press release, bots, stuff like that.
It doesn't hurt anyone.

Spotify, they earn money from subscription every single month.
From people all over the world. That company worth so much.

I believe there's a big pizza on the table. All we have to do is take a slice.

Not as simple as it seems. Bearing in mind that royalties payout net 60 aka after 90 days. Which means this scammed must have at least 36k to run the operation for three months before getting paid.

This is beside the fact that during these 90days Spotify can opt not to pay.

So, his total risk was 36k with an upside of a million. Many would take the bet if they knew it before it became public knowledge.

And that's assuming no prior testing/scaling operation.

Hey, OP, I am a musician too. And I would like to see your journey! Would you create one? If you consider to do something with it - please inform me :p

By the way, I think this method should work. Gradually increase likes/listens for example:
1st day. Buy some listens/likes -> 2nd day buy a bit more -> 3rd day repeat step from previous day. It's interesting if you can get real followers from this kind of way.
