Can I use my account while botting?

Hey
I'm soon going to start botting my account with instabot.py (or eventually GMT2/Jarvee later). Can I still login to the account on my phone without having to worry about a ban? Would IG recognize that the account is being accessed from two places? I still want to post content on my phone manually so it would be great if it is safe!

For sure you have a great chance of ban while using your instagram account simultaniously with the bot.
Instagram has its rules and once defining your activity from 2 different IP addresses, you can easily to get ban.
So it's risky.

Okay, thanks for letting me know! How can I come around this? I want to manually post content from my phone and is there anyway to do that?

If I run the bot on my computer connected to the same WiFi as my phone (so no proxy or VPN) would it work then? Any tips appreciated

I think this service you use should provide you a function of posting directly from your computer. Otherwise you can try Bigbangram tool as a good alternative to the service you use.

By the way, what can I do if I run the bot on a VPS? Can I download both the bot and Instagram on the VPS to make sure it looks like the action is coming from the same place?

Accessing accounts in Starbucks / Free wifi is all good.

The bot runs all day with me getting on and off from my mobile.
Guess no one's situations is the same.

I'm using Jarvee, and it's running on the Amazon Free Tier VPS.
I just noticed though the worst that happens is i get blocked for a certain amount of minutes on Jarvee after the time passes, then it goes back to normal.
Maybe i got the advantage cause my account is aged?
It's 4+ years old.

Yeah, i read that aged accounts have the advantage on this field as i'm trying to grow organic followers.

I would not advise you to do this. Increases the chance that your account can be blocked and all your efforts will be lost. Some IG bots have automatic posting functions. Or you can publish through a bot. So there will be less chance of a ban.
