anyone dissapointed with wordpress new editor gutenberg?

Hey wordpress! I know u r reading this !

i am all in for updates and modern solutions but it feels so bad as if I switched to laggy and buggy Wix (very shit platform btw, install multiwordpress (so ppl can register blogs on ur domain) on hosting and you already exceed wix with features, speed, etc)




What are pluses of this editor?


this is so annoying i dont see htmland i cant tell how many breaklines there are between paragraphs (as in screen)

i hope there will be option to revert back or that my first feeling is incorrect

I think it is good..

It will take sometime get used to it.


You can see html code. On top right corner, you can switch between visual and code editor..

On posts listing page, you will see both edit and classic editor option.

Most themes use blocks now, so WordPress users are use to that. I'm all for it

nah wordpress is perfect fit for seo and ecommerce. saves a lot of work

It does indeed. So does a custom system that you build by yourself and reuse in n number of domains. The thing is, wp is built for the n00bs (not saying it is used by the n00bs only.. lol.. i don't wanna get shot on this weekend)

Those who don't like this update can download the original editor from the plugins. WP gives you the option to switch back!

I am yet to test this new editor but let's see how it goes.

I don't know really. May be because it was meant to be a blogging software but ended up powering all sort of websites including e-commerce.. May be because it's written in php.. Who knows?

It's actually easy to use, may take some time getting used to it completely though.
