Hello Everyone,

I have been working with facebook ads since 2013. Facebook cpc was low for the US market but now it is so expensive.

My average cpc from is $1 per click.

I want to get $0.05 per click from Facebook ads. Can you guys tell me how to reach this goal?

it's impossible to get it 0.05$ from the us currently

Are you doing video ads or normal fb page post ads?

I am using video ads and image ads. Video ads are giving me $0.30 per click which is good but still it is not profitable for me. I need $0.05 per to get some profits.

How's your video ad engagement? It's not possible to get such low CPC for US but you can get more exposure to your ad if you give people incentive to share your ad post. Something like "2 lucky winner who comment and share this video will get 50 bucks" you get the idea

its impossible unless you have a great ad with CTR >= 10%, assuming you have narrow down audience and your CPM is <= $5

When i narrow down my audience some specific age gender was giving me $0.10 per click and some other age and gender so high. I even narrowed by time. And I observed that early in the morning and late in the evening gives low cpc.

Your suggestion is great. I will try your method too for a little test. Let's see what happens.

all over CPM depends on your ads relevancy + positive/negative feedback I believe - I've achieved the cpc of 0.04 in past with low~medium scale of traffic

Awesome, I should take note of this. But how can improve my relevancy? My relevancy is at 7 now but how to achieve it to the 10 on 10? Do you have any tips?

Not true, it really depends on what you're promoting and what your objective is.

Facebook has indeed gotten more expensive, but it really depends on what you're promoting.

Financial ads are typically the most expensive, and with ads like that you really look at your ad ctr/lander ctr/backend conversions as opposed to cpc.

But if your business model is built of cheap clicks then its perfectly doable.

Try and invest in some spy tools and see what other ads are running.

As a good measure, you should always be aiming for minimum 2.5% ctr for a decent ad

Having 0.05 for USA seems impossible but keep testing with different methods, even though you might lose some $ but it's worth it.

You need to test ad in different ad set and post need to be attractive and creative, and so on

Now is really hard to get .05 CPC, try to be more agressive on the text but you will get like .70/.80 at least, CPC on Facebook is totally and complete different to past years
