IG Limiting Reach as Punishment?

Little update:

Yesterday i posted a photo using the hashtags that allowed me to reach 40% engagement rate recently.
Results?
I had 10% engagement rate and 1/6 of the reach of the other post.

So after few days of testing i realize that:

- Instagram shadowban the account, therefore you'll end up with a limited reach with every set of hashtag

- Shadowban is directly correlated to the bot usage (at least for me).
Btw for everyone who could be interested i use GMT2, spread all the activities in a 12 hours time with medium settings and use no proxies since i run only this account atm.

- What worked for me was stopping all the activities for some days and start using the account manually again.

I will do more tests during the next week to understand if the problem is only the bot.


If anyone have any advice i'm all ears

Follow/unfollow still works great with 30% followback ratio, my only problem is the limited reach and engagement rate.

However the account is still small and i need to grow it. Do it manually would be a huge waste of time for me. Would you suggest running manual anyway?

30%? What niche? That seems low.

I would ether run it manually or only do 50-90 actions daily and spread it out over 12 hours.

Powerlikes saved one of my pages too. After there is no shadow ban, you should do powerlikes

I am at the point where I realize followers is meaningless so I dont care about stopping my growth.

There are young, average people in my niche with 5k followers getting 6k likes. I can struggle and get 2k at 30k. What a joke. Follower counts dont matter anymore clearly. Now Im wondering if I can ever get that engagement back or to start anew....

I can definitely relate to this. I have been working on follower growth again lately, without a great deal of success!

Previoulsy I reached a similar impasse, so spent some months focused on recovering my engagement and it did seem to come back. I might join you in going back to that.

Read up on Fuelgram scam threads here on BHW. Fuelgram uses your account, without your knowledge, to like and interact with other Fuelgram accounts.

Followers do matter although.

It's better to just start over if your not willing to invest in it. It's going to take more time than it would be to start over.

Again, I have only used POWERLIKES, you dont need to submit your password for that. I highly doubt Fuelgram has acted on my behalf becuase I never used FUELGROUPS.
I have stopped using fuelgram anyway however but I don't think it was the cause. I had great engagement with them a few months ago so either IG cracked down on that, or maybe the algorithm doesnt like that I stopped getting extra likes, etc. So many possibilities.

Dont say that I am not willing to invest, its just not that much. I spend probably 50-100 bucks a month doing various things. I dont have several thousand dollars to pump into the account each month for expensive powerlikes to a few posts.

Followers matter but at the end of the day you can't compare to someone who is getting 120% engagement when you are getting 4%. You would need 30x more followers than them to get the same amount of likes aka equal chance of brand deals. You cant maintain 30x more followers than your competition for very long at all.

I would start over if i was you, that engagement would be too much work and money to fix. Also you do not need 1000's for powerlikes?

Also you are just not posting stuff people like. IF people like it, it would go viral like their posts do. I have heard that "people post crap and it goes viral" a lot. Your content is not liked if people are not sharing it like the other pages.

It's your content or the shitty fuelgram powerlikes. Instagram could of updated and noticed , then punished you.

I have the same problem, I just stopped using fuel groups from fuelgram (REALY!!!) since I stopped it my post got nearly the same likes as before with FG. lol.

stop your bot for like 2-5 days and then post one pic and see the results

I would stop this massiv likes, 2k are to much in my opinion and if your are in fuel groups, you will aoutomaticly like other fuel group members posts, so you nearly like up to 3k likes a day

there should be no problem with liking your posts, but you can stop it and check it

PSA: fuelgram is SHIT

on another note, take it from ig veteran: content is king. What niche is your account? If nothing too specific, hop on some clickbait/novelty to test how viral you can get.

For testing your audience engagement, post 1 story every 2 hours for 24 hours (requires some dedication) with polls as well, and see how well of response you get on there.
