Please learn from my mistakes, don't build a business on something like Amazon associate. It's like building a house on a cliff edge. If you have a quick method that won't take much time, go for it if you think there's a high ROI. Other than that, Amazon can shut you down for any reason they like, with no notice or warnings and their TOS are so vague they can get rid of you for any reason.
The more control you have over your business the better. When selling on Amazon you have a tiny bit of control, as an affiliate - you have virtually none. Even if you follow all the rules, a competitor could sabbotage your business so easily with Amazon.
It seems great because you can scale things fairly easily and you can make money with Amazon, but that's just like building a skyscraper on a cliff edge instead of a house. I've seen high earners that made millions for Amazon over the years dropped like they were newbie spammers. Zero loyality, zero concern and virtually impossible to communicate with. They're not a good business to work for. They're a good business to buy from my experience (good customer service), but that's not the same. Also, Amazon are ripping off affiliates at the moment, actually skimming / not crediting high ticket items. There's a big thread on their forum about it. They were great in the past for crediting sales, now they'll credit the add-on items but not the big ticket item bought with them.
