How can i rank a site in a specific country (spain, argentina, chile, peru)? Is there any specific method? Also for the kw research, any website recommended?. Sorry is the question is to newbie. Well, obviously your content will be in Spanish, which will be the first and most important step. Then, you can use a national TLD, so if you're trying to rank in Spain you would have domain.es . Your backlink profile should be primarily from Spanish websites. Local citations for that given country can help as well (yelp.es, whatever is popular in Spain). Those are the most dominant factors I can think of. Maybe someone else can chip in something I might've missed.

In general though, I believe it's mostly the same formula. Content + links + "small" things like speed/social/CTR/bounce rate etc.

Also, if you don't want to write content in English but still want an aff site in english, you can consider buying content. I always write my own, but I believe it's pretty cheap here on BHW and fairly decent. One seller I was looking at had good reviews and was offering $7/1,000 words.

Thanks for answering, mate. I have a better idea now. @joseph15 What's tld?. Also, can't affort buying content right now, i'm plannig on doing everything my self

TLD stands for top-level-domain. Basically, it means the letters at the end of your website. In USA it's google.com, in Canada it's google.ca , in spain it's google.es . Make your website finish with .es

Like others have said to the best of my knowledge it's the domain, content language, backlinks domains mostly

.ES is for SPAIN but if you are focusing in peru, argentina, and the other countries you mentioned I dont recommend you to use .ES
.com is better and If is a long term project you can always translate the website also in english.

Suerte. Si quieres hablarme tirame al PM.

Create a separate domain for that country and create backlinks. Google gives high priority to the local domain.

Thanks a lot for replying to my post, you guys help me a lot, cant quote messages right now. I already started to write content in spanish

Country specific language , ip or domain.

Your domain should have .es extension. And build backlinks in the same language and same domain extension.

can we know for spanish prices for different text types? words...

Spanish content . spanish ranking easy brother .

heard, another way is using that Google map business location?
I remember saw someone offer this service

It's really easy to do. I did it several times and still banking hard.

1. You need country extension domain(not .com, .net)
2. Hosting IP isn't a problem as long as if you are using CDN, if not you can use the nearest location(country) provide hosting for host the site.( THIS IS NOT TOO MUCH IMPORTANT FACTOR AS MATT SAID BECAUSE WHEN YOU ARE USING COUNTRY WISE DOMAIN GOOGLE KNOW WHAT IS THAT MEAN)
3. Do keywords research for the related country( if you targeting any other country do the kw research for that country)
4. Do not use translate plugins as everyone says ( because translating plugin are suck), use a human translator(freelancer) to translate your content to those countries language posts. Add that as genuine content for the website.

5. if you want you can use country wise backlinks( But I still didn't want this, I'm ranking for No 1 for several countries long time now by doing above 4 steps) If you want you can this 5th step too.

  • Use country level domain
  • Mention the Country name in your page title + content
  • use country name in backlinks anchors
you should be good to go with this, let us know about the results so far :)
