Dropshipping phone cases, worth a shot?

Since it's summer vacation I've a lot of spare time, so I thought of starting a new project which will be dropshipping. Now I am thinking of dropshipping phone cases, which seems like a fun project but I'm wondering what you guys think: is there any money left for new players or is it over saturated? Is it worth a shot or should I find a new niche?

I'm not really afraid of losing my money since
a) I like trying and experimenting with new things and this is also very interesting.
b) I can't lose a lot of money, since all I'd need is $29 for Shopify, $10 for a domain and ~$70 for marketing to test the waters, I'll try to mostly guerilla market to save on these costs.

So what do you guys think, just do it or not?

PS: my Shopify store will still be SSL certified if I don't buy my domain from them, right? They charge $14 for a domain whereas Namecheap charge $10.

I would say give it a shot! Back when I sold things I always made them niche related. In my experience, selling in evergreen niches(needed year round and never changing) you need to have a brand name or a lot of social proof. Otterbox for example, however when you get into more niche areas like rick and morty it works out. One of my successful stores sold Teen Wolf and Riverdale phone cases! So make it more niche than basic if you get what I mean. You can add sections to your store even! If anything treat this as a learning experience because very seldomly does anyone ace anything first try, and thats where people also give up. So keep at it! If you need anymore help with anything Ecom wise you can @ me I have been doing it for about 9-10 months now and love it!

Thanks, but after seeing threads of you being exposed I don't believe that you had successful stores. Taking your advice with a grain of salt.
