Starting an IG Engagement Group

I'm thinking of starting an egagement group.

Of course, I'll be approaching people in the same/similar niche with a similar number of followers (fitness/33k) and asking them to join.

What sort of rules should I outline?

In these groups is everyone obliged to comment on everyone else's posts? Or just on days when they DM their own posts to the group?

Do I specify anything about the quality/length of comments?

Should Stories be included?

Anything else?

What are the standard rules in DM groups?

I would just find accounts that are relatively big and add them to a DM group without asking first. It is faster and they never mind anyway. I make 4 DM groups every day and I’m in 20 DM groups right now. People will start adding you into DM groups when they see you’re involved in so many. I get like 70 comments each post all from 10k+ accounts when I had 20 followers and I don’t have any other big accounts to promote it. I have since given up on the account because I want to focus on other money making method. Always remember though it is better to have 4 100k+ DM groups rather than 20 1k-50k DM groups.

I just like and comment on the pages who do it on my profile when I post. If you see a post in your groups from the last 30 minutes then you like and comment on them aswell. It doesn’t really matter and it’s ok if you don’t do that just try to return comments to the people who comment on your posts.

Ah, so it's pretty casual and people are free to just comment when they want to?

Doesn't that lead to problems with leachers who get comments but don't comment back?

Yes it’s pretty casual. Usually people don’t leech but that’s why I’m saying always reply to the people who comment on your own stuff because you know for sure that they are active members and aren’t leechers

Usually you set rules when you start an engagement group.
If you post always at the same time just let the others know so they can enter and like+comment your picture as soon as you post it. - You should be available to do the same for them tho.
Btw I'd rather use small DM groups (which are easy to manage) than large telegram groups.

So all members post at a set time? Or do you mean just tell each other what times you post?

Yes, you can decide one of those, depends on the availability of the people in the group
