The idea is that because 20% of BTC will be lost in the future (speculatively) the cost will soar to a hundred million dollars by 2030.
Its not just about demand and supply always. Btc mught go up in coming years but after it reaches a certain level, the bubble is supposed to burst. IMO btc wont reach 2030. IF crypto will be future, there would be coins much better than btc which have a real life use though i see no potential use of btc then.
I do agree with that but we cannot disagree that there are alot more cryptocurrencies which are way more useful than bitcoin and that makes me so sure that bitcoin will be dethroned sooner or laterThe fact that we can now use cryptocurrency to purchase services from our marketplace and products across the net from various companies to me shows just how much use of the technology there is.

Even if no other coin takes spot 1, these will share the total investment with bitcoin. Return wise, some alt coins are better than bitcoin.I do agree with that but we cannot disagree that there are alot more cryptocurrencies which are way more useful than bitcoin and that makes me so sure that bitcoin will be dethroned sooner or later
Well actually initial investment in alts was supposedly done with btc undoubtedly but since now the trend is changing, we see more and more exchanges allowing to buy alts with ether/neo/bcash/tether and even with fiat so if this increases gradually btc might have no value. Until few months ago btc was the only way to obtain alts in over 95% exchanges but the trend is changing now.Even if no other coin takes spot 1, these will share the total investment with bitcoin. Return wise, some alt coins are better than bitcoin.
We have a lot left in 2018.Bitcoin guru, predict bitcoin will be 30k bla bla bla this 2018, and look its 6k$ today.
bitcoin is still used for purchases. You realize not everyone that uses it is a marketerThere is no way it will inflate past $60k until the crypto wave is over. Mark my words even $200k is a joke. There isn't as much demand for bitcoin to reach that high, and once people realize that then they will sell, and the bubble will pop. Anyone with Bitcoin purchased right now is on thin ice.
I know it is still used for purchases, but too many people do not understand the concept of it and will generally not touch it.bitcoin is still used for purchases. You realize not everyone that uses it is a marketer
but too many people do. Monero and bitcoin will always be up there because they're used for purchases.I know it is still used for purchases, but too many people do not understand the concept of it and will generally not touch it.
This is also what I believeJust like the guy who said "the internet is just a fad", it could happen, it might not happen. I'm not ruling anything out. What I do know is there is a critical point in which it will require more computing power than exists in hashes to run the ledger. Crypto will have to switch to a proof of stake model like Eth is going to do with the next update.
