IM full time for me too for about 6 years now. Although slowly transitioned from IT sector for about 6 years before that.
The danger with IM is you don't always get a reward for your efforts, passive income is great but there's usually a lot of work beforehand.

used to work in affiliate program office it, now going for the IM by studying seo and getting into the same niche the affiliate program was in ))) What about you >?

I am a business analyst/financial controller 5 days a week full time and been running my web/design - digital marketing agency in parallel for about 5-6 years now....Every year I come close to shifting full time to agency work but never seem to make the last step....If i carry on doing both for much longer I think I will start losing my mind

That actually a job...more like fun!? But in all seriousness... any downsides? I had a friend who used to do it for whiskey. They seemed to enjoy it, though they traveled a lot (they worked as a buyer so had to travel to all the factories/distilleries to taste). They go into it to make money to get drunk. Seemed to work out well for them for a while.
