What is your day job?

I'm a marketer, I live in Russia, St. Petersburg, I work with the whole world, for me there are no restrictions

"If you don't make money while you sleep, you'll never be free"

Or something like that.

I don't have a "job" since about 1997. But I've worked like a mule to get here.

I like the quote and it's what my philosophy in life is. I want the freedom. I don't see the point of working, even in a high paying job, to not have freedom.

However I'm quite happy to work 80 hours a week on my own projects and businesses now to get to that stage of freedom.

title really says it all! what do you do for a living and where in the world are you located? For me I live in Phoenix,AZ USA and i'm an A/C technician. Bored and want to get to know some of the fellow black hatters! My goal is to eventually work completely from home and make a decent income!
I live on the east coast USA and i'm a computer technician, I'm trying to find a good plan, Niche and see how it goes. I made a few dollars in the dating niche a couple months ago so i do know you definitely can make money online, This forum have all the information and tools to be successful.

When you work for others, they reap the long term benefits of your work. When you work for yourself, the initial sacrifice can be tough but it's worth it in the long run.

Work for the State government. Hate my job, but it pays my mortgage and has a good retirement plan. I will be working in my box for the next 27 years, only to retire and probably die shortly after. This is life.
That was sad to read. You have to want more from life. Take a Risk! Run your own business. Even a part time online business. It may become your full time income one day. Living an average life is bullshit. You're no worse than any millionaire that now enjoys life to the fullest!

Just some advice from a guy you don't know.

Its nice to see what fellow forum members are doing in real life.

I dropped from the med university after my 7th year there. Started IM back when I was on the first year and didn't really focus on my studies. I still managed to pass years but with a poor medical backround and knowledge.

Currently 100% doing IM while reading daily a couple of articles related to medicine. I plan to remain that way but I would love to go back to university and continue the last 2 years I still have.
If i was you, i will go now to the university to re-sign me in. You just had 2 years man....

27, psychologist for 3 days a week (part time), doing lots of IM as another part time job :)

Security guard currently in college.
Thought it would be a good idea to earn money while I'm free at work, so I joined the forum to learn more :D

19, working at a Sushi restaurant as a day job, I make just enough to continue living as a student.
And ofc looking at BHW for some motivation to start something online..
