You have to be shitting me. There's probably 0.01% chance of getting reinstated no matter if you have done anything wrong or not, polite or not. The second reply from Amazon is usually the same as first. "Our account specialists has checked your site again and confirmed that our decision is final. You are not in compliance with the Associates Program because... etc.". You don't get any explanation. Just a random quote from the operating agreement and that's it. And there's usually a "warmest regards" at the bottom of the email that feels like you've been stabbed in the neck.just wait another 3 days they will respond and most of the time their answer is positive where they told that they reactivate the account.
no one is shitting on you you're doing it to yourself. You have to be shitting me. There's probably 0.01% chance of getting reinstated no matter if you have done anything wrong or not, polite or not. @OP I've heard that a few people got reinstated by sending an email to Jeff Bezos directly. My advice: Don't kiss ass and don't make the email too long because I don't think Bezos likes people. Best of luck!
Yes Amazon did terminate one of my accounts last month I just send them an email telling them that they should consider their decision and their answer was postive.Thank you for that response. So this is something that happens pretty often and usually has a positive resolution in your experience?
I spent literally 20+ hours Googling for answers about 2 years ago. I read the Amazon Associates forum, BHW, so on and so on. I've spoken to dozens of people and about 25% of them were literally innocent. Some of them were stuffing cookies, some of them were offering incentives, but most of them were innocent. I've spoken to a single person who got his account reinstated and he was copying Amazon reviews. The rest of them were banned for good no matter what their issue was. So if you are saying that "most of the time their answer is positive where they told that they reactivate the account", you have to be shitting me.no one is shitting on you you're doing it to yourself.
If you're really innocent they will reactivate the account. If you have been doing something stupid which by the way you seem like the kind of affiliates who does something stupid then they will not waste their time with you. Same as me !!I spent literally 20+ hours Googling for answers about 2 years ago. I read the Amazon Associates forum, BHW, so on and so on. They have banned account just because it was registed to a person living next to the person who was banned. No explanation, two emails confirming that the ban is permanent. They have banned accounts for even more bizzare things and on rare occasions people got reinstated. But if you are saying that "most of the time their answer is positive", you are clearly shitting me or talking out of your ass.
I'm talking from my personnel experience and my experience was postive with their support team. they have banned my account so I send them an email telling them that I'd like if they can consider reviewing their decision after 3 days I got an email from one of their team telling me that my account has been reistated again. Again this is my experience not like "I know people who know people ..."This is really untrue @kanamon. Amazon is notorious for banning people for minor infractions. It is extremely rare to get an account reinstated once it is banned.
If you get the "you have 5 days to fix X" then you have a chance. Once the account is banned, the only people I've known to be reinstated hit the lottery with an email to jeff@amazon.
