Morning BHW,

just to be sure: are 4-5 pages with 500 words on each ok? Or do I need to publish more :)?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Warm regards,
S.

It is fine.

I am sure @MikeyMikey13 may have even less on some of his PBN. Maybe not, we shall see.

The way you can look at it is, some real sites have only 1 page and can rank well (not easily as before though). Or some real sites can just have a few pages and be perfectly fine. So 4-5 articles for a PBN should be (and is) perfectly fine.

If you have a 5 site PBN, use different themes, layouts and also articles.
So 1 site might have 4 articles, the second site has 10 articles and the third has 20 short articles etc.

Mix things up.

Yeah, like F said, diversify. 4 - 5 articles is way too low in my book, but there is no rule book and no right or wrong. Only PBNs that don't get raped within a few months.

To be honest, I have gave it a lot of thoughts lately about question you asked here.
I personaly like to develop my PBN sites to be medium large with fun and attractive content.

Minimum I would go is 20-30 articles about 500-1000 words long and fill the site with interesting content and widgets.

Thats just how I do it.

I agree that diversification of content length is more important. I have PBNs with a few indexed pages, some reach 100 indexed pages. The main thing to me is avoid footprint, so all PBN should look different.

I never decide how may pages I will have in advance. I just add content over time anyway.

Compare them to AVERAGE 'real' sites in their niche. How many pages do those have? At the very least have a welcome page, about page, contact us page, and a handful of posts.

PBN with 100 published post is nice but the issue here is the cost of the content.

Thanks again for the helpful replies!!! Will certainly use a different article amount and theme on each domain.

I shall publish one article each week on every PBN site. Will that be ok? Really want to do my best to maintain everything and make it a long term project. From which moment can I publish a link to my money site?

The problem with this approach the PBN is not a PBN but a BN... Personally like you, I prefer well built BN a little bit grey-hatted, than pure BH-PBN full of bullshit or just 5 medium sized articles deadlocked. But obviously this is time, and sometimes is not even worth because some serial-SEO-killers can be doing 5x more shit-sites with overall better ranking power.

This is why I like to see others use-case experiences

A lot also depends on what kind of domains you are using. If it's a $300 domain, then it would be a good idea to post more content and vice versa. Also, let's say you want to have 20 articles in total on cheaper PBN site. Post 8 straight away and schedule the rest over the year. Set and forget.

I have about 20 pages on each of my pbns, but they are spun content. Between 300-1000 words, all pages indexed.

But I also have a separate network of one page sites... it really doesn't matter if you are just going to link from the homepage.

Additional information to you. don't forget to insert in posts a videos/pictures/tables. This makes increasing of onpage optimization.

honestly, 4-5 500-word articles is very thin. You need to update your PBN site regularly to keep them "live" just like a normal stie. The amount of content you need on them and the amount of time and money it costs to m aintain these makes them totally not worth it.

Even so, 4-5 500 word articles is paltry, even for low comp keywords

Although everything was covered, I have a different perspective to think about.

Do you really think your COA will pass a manual review?

If you, more content is better.

If not, why bother?

Most people get this mixed up. The reality is the free theme, non social media pbn with no traffic will not hold up.

Most people miss:

1. Social Media
2. Valid Contact details
3. PBN traffic
4. Other OBL
5. Different registration dates
6. Anchor diversity
7. Monitization (ads and affiliate links)
8. And so on.

This is on top of normal stuff.

If your site has any flags for which an algo can ditect and doesnt look real, it wont matter how many articles you post.

If your content is clearly spun and reads horribly, it wont matter how many articles you post.

If you do everything right and then get manually reviewed, that is one of the only times content matters.

If a competitor finds your pbn, and your site doesnt look real it will get reported.

If you do everything right, then content matters.

For those who do everything right and want the site to last, then you want to vary content.

Some sites should be single pagers. Some should be large magazine style sites. Some should be personal blogs. Some should be thin business websites.

For a static business site, you dont need five articles. Many businesses never update there website.

Magazine style will normally have at least something weekly.

Personal blogs vary. As infrequently as every few months a new blog post.

But, again, most PBN sites I see wont pass a manual review. But they last for years.

If you make them as real as possible, they should be a real website and thusly pass a manual review. In this case, you want occasional fresh content.

Networks get hit all the time. Even if you do everything right.

Why bother will all the content if your site isnt built right or has foot prints?
