Although everything was covered, I have a different perspective to think about.
Do you really think your COA will pass a manual review?
If you, more content is better.
If not, why bother?
Most people get this mixed up. The reality is the free theme, non social media pbn with no traffic will not hold up.
Most people miss:
1. Social Media
2. Valid Contact details
3. PBN traffic
4. Other OBL
5. Different registration dates
6. Anchor diversity
7. Monitization (ads and affiliate links)
8. And so on.
This is on top of normal stuff.
If your site has any flags for which an algo can ditect and doesnt look real, it wont matter how many articles you post.
If your content is clearly spun and reads horribly, it wont matter how many articles you post.
If you do everything right and then get manually reviewed, that is one of the only times content matters.
If a competitor finds your pbn, and your site doesnt look real it will get reported.
If you do everything right, then content matters.
For those who do everything right and want the site to last, then you want to vary content.
Some sites should be single pagers. Some should be large magazine style sites. Some should be personal blogs. Some should be thin business websites.
For a static business site, you dont need five articles. Many businesses never update there website.
Magazine style will normally have at least something weekly.
Personal blogs vary. As infrequently as every few months a new blog post.
But, again, most PBN sites I see wont pass a manual review. But they last for years.
If you make them as real as possible, they should be a real website and thusly pass a manual review. In this case, you want occasional fresh content.
Networks get hit all the time. Even if you do everything right.
Why bother will all the content if your site isnt built right or has foot prints?
