So i made a hiring thread and its getting a pretty good response.. only issue is that it doesn't have a single reply on the thread itself. It lasted a few hours before being tossed to the 2nd page since everyone who applies for the job is just PMing me on here & on skype.

So my question is: Can i bump the thread or is there a rule against that?

This is not a good practice for a one day old WTB or HAF.
Of course, thats why im asking. I just got some really good responses in that bit of time that the thread was visible but people just keep contacting me on skype and not replying to the thread itself. Over 7 applications and 0 replies lol.

Next time make sure to instruct members to post directly in the thread if interested in the job.

I thought that was already a rule of the hiring section?
I don't think it's a rule. The only rule I'm aware of is that only Jr. VIP and above can apply. Could be wrong.

Every couple of days is not an issue but please don't do it every day as it will look rather spammy.

That is one of the best ways to make sure the seller/provider is held accountable.

Some were, some weren't. Others messaged me on skype so i have no way to tell for those ones.

Should you buy from those that are not you would be putting yourself, as well as them, in a position that neither would want.

3.6 Advertising to, or solicitation of, any member to buy or sell any products or services through the unauthorized or impermissible use of the Site such as PM solicitation. (Note: If you have something you want to sell on this forum, post it in the For Sale section).

Yes, but some applicants do not care about the rules. Report them.

If you are so inclined to help keep BHW clean that is really the best course of action. They will not always get a warning (I had a Jr Vip who applied to be a Mod recently try to buy from non-paid members very recently) but they will probably get a message to not do that going forward.

Fair enough. Thanks for the reply.

I can't really report anyone since most are contacting me outside of BHW so i don't know who they are on here.
