Hmm. I'm not quite sure what you are doing wrong and where you are making the posts. Subreddits or comments. This exact method doesn't go into such details, but I haven't had problems with posts getting deleted.
It doesn't break Amazon TOS.
No, this method is only for these 2 sales holidays. If you are looking for whole year method, you should check out the other method.

Canadian Amazon Associates would work, but there are far more less canadians on Reddit than there are people from US. You would be robbing yourself.
If you did both, you could have an advantage, because I don't see anyone doing this method for Canada.
