Hello Boys and Girls ^^
I'm not very good with specs and that things but, ye, i have one pc and i cant play games like RAFT or TheForest there...

Specs :
I7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Intel HD Graphics
8gb ram

What should i buy to play this games in medium? ( i dont want a super fast pc, i just play like 3-4 hours a week).

^ This. You just need a graphics card.

I had the same CPU, 2600K version and it's pretty awesome. I'd suggest getting at least 8GB extra RAM and a nice $150-200 GPU. Then your PC won't suck. That GPU could be a bit overkill, but you can easily play most games on high/medium setting with 1080p resolution.

1800GT? Maybe 1080? and 1080ti ? If yes, then just go and buy new CPU, mobo and RAM because if you can afford that kind of GPU then you should trash your current PC.

nvidia geforce 8600 gtx <- is this xD
nothing seems to change... the fan of the graphic works, but in the device manager dont appear, i should do something in bios ?

What should i look for when to buy a new graphic card? 2gb ?

get a cheap gtx 1060 for it, runs most of the stuff pretty well. It's like 200 dollars too.

How can you dream on playing games with an intel hd graphics ? Just buy a 1050- 1060 graphics card.

yep, definitely need 16gb minimum, and a quad-core system. But the Core i7 is a good processor... intel HD graphics is a bit shit :)

This might not be a popular opinion in this thread, but I would advice you to stop playing video games. They are designed in a way to trigger huge dopamine releases in your brain. Dopamine is the neurotransmitter that gives you the feeling of reward. Video games give you such a supranatural stimulus, that your brain gets rewired to constantly seek out that same level of reward. Since progressing in life and achieving your goals is also dependent on your brain rewarding you with dopamine releases, playing video games will desensitize you to these real life rewards.

A lot of people know already that playing slot machines triggers dopamine and gets you hooked almost immediately, because the machines are designed in that way: group of engineers and psychologists have sat around the table looking for ways to maximize that feeling, to get people to pull the lever until they lose their life to it. I hope that people realize that the same process is used to get you hooked on video games. Pulling away from it will free your mind and make it peanuts to go after your dreams and life goals.

Other stuff you should cut out of your life to "reset" your dopamine levels is social media (or any other kind of endless scrolling content) and watching porn. Try quitting these things and you'll notice how hooked they got you in the first place!

Just my two cents, please don't feel offended!

Get a 1060 or a 1050 Ti (price for value). You'll be able to play the latest games in the highest settings at 50 - 60fps
