Are Social Profiles actually important for my affiliate site? Like google Plus, FB, TWITTER etc. Does it matter if I have good onpage SEO and back links? Or is it a waste of time for SEO?

social pages are more important than u think cuz u can get a lot of visitors and link this way. its like ur own platform to advertise for free (till fb bans ur page at least lol)

last time i checked (2016) page(like ur wordpress blog pages) likes and ur social acc(like fb page) likes, also with twitter didnt really make any difference. idk about shares

They're very important! Although they don't have a direct impact on your rankings, it is a good place for you to advertise and get some organic traffic. Having profiles on the important social media channels will also make you look more professional.

Social profiles certainly play their role.

Not all of the factors will make you rise in rankings directly. Some are indirect like social profiles. People call it Social Fortress sometimes.

It increases overall authority of your website. Especially when there is activity on those profiles. For example Facebook page.
