Let‘s introduce myself

Hello, I am 22 years old and I am coming from Luxembourg and I am into IM since 2 years. So basicly I was that typical guy who tried different things but I everytime gave up to early... Now I made me on the research for a good keyword to create a nice niche website to generate a bit of money. And hell yeah I gave up on Fortnite for this Journey lmao

My MASTER-PLAN

So I want to create an amazon affiliate website in a specific niche. I already did the keyword research who cost me 3-4 hours. Than I analyzed my competition so basicly there is not a really good competition behind. I found a several niche websites but there are very bad optimized so yeah I want to break this shit.
So after I have made a bit of money with amazon affiliate I want to open up my own online shop(dropshipping) to get more revenue. Thats basicly my MASTER-PLAN.

What I already did
  • Keyword research: Main Keyword [1,9k monthly searches] and several other keywords [between 1k and 2k monthly searches]
  • Analyzed my competition [that was‘t really hard I think I can break into the top 10 google searches easy]
  • Started writing content in Word
To Do List
  • Finish writing my content in Word
  • Buying Host and Domain
  • Buying Theme and Plugin [I did a bit of research and I think I will take the „Shema“ -Theme with AAWP Plugin]
  • Including and optimizing content for ON-Page SEO in Wordpress
  • Build Backlinks
  • Start earning
My Goals

- Make about 15 Affiliate Sales in one month to create my own webshop.
- Earning 200$ a month

So basicly I know I do not set my goals to high, once I will achieve them I will defently have some more goals.

So guys I will update this journey everytime I have relevant new updates for you and sorry for my englisch!

good luck!
how did you analyze the competition? what did you look for while analyzing?

Good luck on your journey. Don't give up this time and keep this thread active.

Its actually really hard to make 15 sales on the first month only from google , unless the keyword is really really low . But after some month and if you don't fuck up with spam or anything , good content , you will reach 200$/month

Best of luck on your journey. I will follow the thread

so how did you do your keyword research? was it easy deciding?

To answer a few questions, firstly for keyword research I had a several ideas in my head and added them to google keyword planner to view the monthly views and the CPC. There was one with nearly 2k monthly searches and CPC of about 3$ later I used kwfinder to see more deep details about the keyword and other suggestions and even it helped me a little bit to analyze my competition... than I analyzed the niche websites by myself too see how is the onpage seo and so on..

I am glad you have a short and simple target which is not hard to achieve that makes things more realistic. All the best for your journey. Make sure you don't quit this time as its the time you're going to achieve your goals.

Good luck! I started around the same time as you. Lets stick to this and see some growth

Many thanks to everyone, so right now I haven‘t big updates for you... I am still writing the whole content

But I have some questions for link building.. I was thinking to create my own PBN ? Is this a good idea? Maybe someone have some tipps :)

Yay and nay.
PBNs aren’t easy to setup, imagine each as another niche website to get up and running.
You’ve got to find the domain (with decent links), check it for spam, then register it (not as easy as it sounds as you don’t want the registered details to match the same as your website), then host each on a new host so it’s unique, create a website, add content, theme, etc... then multiply by the number of sites you are setting up...

So, my suggestion - use a fairly decent diversity package on here (look through other journeys to get an idea of what actually worked) all without using the keyword, then use a press release (ie Stephan’s) for the website brand name and about the sites niche (no kw).

Next building links that count, exact match around 1-2%, partial match 2-3%, longtail 2-3% then the rest generic / brand / url.

Reach out to the sellers and ask questions!

from what I've read, AAWP is considered the best one. maybe it's available in the folder linked to in a BHW thread called "[MEGA GET] Free Access to my Premium WP Themes and Plugins Storage!" (google for it)

there is a native, Amazon-created plugin, OneLink, but I remember once reading that it's getting blocked by some adblock plugins. is it still true - I don't know...

maybe ask your question about the best Amazon plugin in a more relevant BHW thread or ask in the threads of the most successful Amazon affiliate journeys (those guys are surely knowledgeable)?
