Hey guys,
This community has given me so much so I thought it may be time for me to give back to the community. I recently started a dropshipping store, and in the past month it has made around 1700$ in sales. It's not much, I know, but it is a start and it's also the first money I've ever made online!
First I needed a niche that wasn't super saturated, and that was easy to market. I won't reveal my niche (for obvious reasons), but I started with something that was easily marketable with Instagram, as it seemed more approachable to than Facebook ads. Also, it means you can re-target the traffic through FB later on. You'll want to look for an influencer that doesn't post too many ads (keep track of them everyday to find this out) and that also has good engagement, preferably 5% and above.
My first influencer was an astounding success, the picture pretty much went viral (12k+ likes and 3k comments) and I made around 500$ in sales that day off of a 35$ dollar shoutout. Unfortunately, since then it seems the niche has become a little saturated, but I've branched out with varying degrees of success.
I've found that staying on top of your game when it comes to customer service is super important, but it's also something I need to work on, as it usually takes me a couple days to reply to emails about inquiries about orders.
I'll keep writing about this as my journey continues and I'm happy to answer questions!
I also want to thank the BHW community again for reminding me to stop looking at methods and START doing them! I'll be using some of this money to delve into CPA + instagram, so if anyone has any tips, it'd be much appreciated.
Best regards,
intlfool
